I think I remember you saying that and I totally know how you feel. I actually was selling other toys at the time, hoping that would be able to cover the cost, but I wound up not being paid in time. I just wish we knew for certain if more of her are going to turn up.

I'm very very sad that finances prevented me from bidding on one of Chi's auction's here. I just wanted to get one so bad. I think if she ever appears on eBay that it will probably end up over $1000. I'm wishing with all my heart that Hasbro releases her in some form.

Thank you, PinkRosedust! That's exactly how I felt. I have no problem with unique body shapes and all, but I just thought his Ren and Stimpy face was nasty. Now, don't get me wrong, I was a big R and S fan, but the idea of its grossness mixed with ponies.... EWWW! lol

Aww, what a sweet story! Yes, avoid the dryer at all costs. It wil melt the hair. I would say you could even go with a full hand wash if she's that dirty, but you really need to squeeze out the extra water when you're done, before hanging up to dry. As far as the hair, I've found that the hair on those plushies is quite different than regular pony hair. The babies have that super curly hair which makes it even harder to deal with. Maybe you could take a good hairdresssing comb and a little bit of conditioner through it before giving it the full wash.

Chi, please don't feel bad about this. You stated your reasons in the sales thread and I think it's perfectly reasonable. You shouldn't even have to keep justifying it. There would be no way to spread 3 ponies over, say, 100 people fairly and the fact that you are trying to keep them in the community is good as well. You put the money and the out time to get near-impossible to find items and you should be able to do with them as you see fit. It wasn't like you put them on an auction site for a fixed price, you are letting people here decide what they are willing to spend and I for one, am grateful to even have the opportunity to do just that.

Well, I placed an order there for their site to store service late last year. It was for a Barbie Basics doll that had just been released which had full articulation. They said it was in stock at the only Kmart in my town (which is not that good!) and that I could pick it up the next day, I think. So, I took the train down there and could not for the life of me find the pick up spot. Everyone in the store told me to go to a different place! Also, this is a two-floor Kmart that is always understaffed, I might add! So, I wound up at the returns counter and could see a little bag there. I waited forever and it was a good thing I lookeed in the bag before I left, because it was just an older wave Barbie! I told them it was wrong and I had to wait again for them to process a refund. Well, since I had used a credit card, I think it took some days for it to be refunded. It was a bit of a hassle.
Shortly after that, I had been hearing more horror stories of either cancelled or wrong Barbie orders. Then, someone I know ordered a new Strawberry Shortcake doll and got sent an older wave one. It was then that I knew I had to spead the word about Kmart.com's bad service! About a month ago, I saw new Monster High fashions on there that no other store had. As tempting as it was, I resisted and I think the listings wound up being pulled anyway!
I don't know how they are allowed to get away with posting new promo pics and saying the items are in stock when they never are. I seriously wish we could all complain to them. At least the refund stories I heard from others were hassle free.

Exactly. That was waaay before  Pony spoke on the show and all the uproar her voice caused. I just have a bad feeling that she won't be released in any way, because they don't want to "offend" people. Kids go to Comic Con, wouldn't that still give someone room to complain? That, combined with the news that Taobao isn't likely getting any more of her just doen't seem good. It makes me sad. She isn't offensive, she's unique.
