Surprised by the amount of people that started with G4s, and even more surprised that it seems most people have their childhood G1s!
CottonCandyCafe, I had that playset as a child too! I think it was the first playset I had, actually. What a wonderful way to enter the world of ponies!

If you remember, what was the very first pony you owned? What's their fate now - do you still have them, or were they sold or given away? For me, it was 2004 Dress-Up Eveningwear Sunny Daze and Sparkleworks, both bought at the same time. I still remember sitting on my bed in my old room and freeing them from their boxes! They now reside with the rest of my G3 herd and are happy to share their outfits from time to time

I'm actively trying to turn my space into a jungle. While most of my collection are succulents or cacti, one of my favorites is the spider plant and her separate pup, who were both gifted to me. I've been having issues with light levels in my dorm, so I may eventually invest in a grow light for the sunlight-hungry Echeverias. We'll see!

Man, with those colors she looks like she could be Meadowbrook's sister. While I'm not opposed to gem cutie marks in general - the 2003 jewel ponies were quite well-executed - it looks a little forced here. That poor butterfly's head is just so out of proportion to its body!

I love horses - maybe not as much as dogs - but I'm always happy to give them a handful of grass and a pat if I walk past a field full of friendly horses. Growing up in the suburbs, I really only got to interact with horses at camp and while visiting family, so I think the novelty of seeing a real live horse is definitely a factor.
