Not in a million years! While I don't mind seeing people with tattoos and everyone should do whatever they want, I personally don't like them at all. I just don't find them appealing, no matter how big or small they are.

Oh she cleaned up so well! How nice that you can enjoy ponies with your daughter now! :D

The Dollhouse / WANTED: Pullip type 4 bodies!
« on: August 15, 2015, 01:50:52 AM »
Hi!

Not sure if this is the right subforum for it, but there seems to be no wanted section... :)

I'm looking for 2 type4 bodies for two of my girls who are still stuck on a type3. It's for a Raphia and an Uncanricky. Raphia is pretty tan, while Uncanricky seems to be pretty natural, so I'm looking for both a natural and a tan body. Please PM me if you have either for sale! :)

Thanks!

Pony Brag Arena / Luna and the Imperial March - Scandinavia brag!
« on: August 14, 2015, 10:38:20 AM »
During our holiday in Scandinavia I not only spotted ponies in a museum, I actually also found ponies! :D

We initially went to Copenhagen where I almost immediately ran into a build-a-bear workshop  I didn't even know we had those in Europe! So I was super excited to see they even had the ponies! I didn't instantly take one home but we came back later that night after taking a walk through the (BEAUTIFUL) city first. While I was deciding on what pony to get, my fiancee spotted a Luna on display a bit further away and after asking one of the insanely friendly and happy employees they still had Luna in the back :D So I had to have her. My fiancee was joking around in the Star Wars isle while we were waiting and found the Imperial March music thing you can put in your toy, and we got the wicked idea to just put one in Luna!  My fiancee also got me the outfit and we even went back the next day to get the shoes and a lightsaber    When one of the employees found out what we did she laughed so hard!

I had vowed not to get any pony plushies anymore, but I love her soooo much  :lovey: and I'm so happy we got her on our amazing trip and that she is my little Sith pony! ;)

A few days later we were in Sweden and visited a little coastal town and I randomly walked into a little souvenir shop hoping to find some postcards, when I found gen1 stuff  :dropjaw:

The ponies are the 2007 reissues from the 25th anniversary pack, which I thought was only sold in the USA? I have NO idea how these ladies ended up in Sweden! We actually had to come back for it all the next day, as we had no cash and the store didn't accept cards and there were no ATM's in the little village... I'm glad they were all still there! I already own the anniversary packs MIB, but I just couldn't leave them behind!! Absolutely love the bag, too. I think it's originally from Primark.

Did... did you tell them some of the ponies were knockoffs?

They can't exactly know if nobody tells them.

Naw I didn't unfortunately, I was too excited by all the cool things they had! We did talk to the 'owner' for a while, but mostly about other toys and how their collection came to be; apparently it's a family thing, with the grandpa & son being responsible for most of the trains, and their children for the other toys. Their daughter was responsible for the ponies & barbies, but she wasn't there when we visited.

I did consider donating some ponies, but I didn't have any spares with me! It would be cool if they had at least one of each generation!

Pony Corral / The super awesome toy museum in Sweden that has ponies!
« on: August 13, 2015, 01:23:51 AM »
My fiancee and I have been on holiday in Sweden last week, and I found this ad about a fun toy museum in a small village. We decided to go check it out, expecting some toy trains and tin soldiers, but instead we found this amazing museum that has SO MANY toys! A lot of them were from the 80's and 90's like Lego, Barbie, Polly Pocket and Playmobil, but they even had a lot of modern toys as well like Bionicle and movie-tie ins from Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

Of course I was hoping to see some ponies, and sure enough they had a few! It was SO cool to see toys I actively collect on display in a museum! Eep I was so excited :frolic: They had a bunch of gen1 ponies with some European exclusives, and a bunch of fakies thrown into the mix (I don't think they knew that much about ponies), plus the school and kitchen playsets. Their gen1's looked really nice with bright pink hair on some of them.

The museum is in Eslöv, their website is here.
Here's some photos!

Haha yeah I've been following it for a while. I need one of those! That expression is amazing. Who thought of making a pony looking like that?!

Bike or public transport! My fiancee has a car but I don't even have a drivers license. I don't really want to drive and I love cycling or taking the train, it's so relaxing :)
