This is a hard one.
One thing I would do (and I have had some NASTY break ups) is put them aside for at least 6 months. Put them somewhere not found for a long time. Take them out of the collection (so you can still enjoy your others!) and then put them somewhere/with someone for awhile.
Its better to decide later. While it burns right now, time will tell you what to do with them later. Whether you can look fondly at the art or you just need to get rid of the reminder.
Sometimes, your history becomes very interesting (albeit maybe 15 years down the road). My sister once told me that if I looked through the eyes of a great-grandchild, they might find this very interesting and have no other emotional attachment besides that.
