I have a boxed Blue Belle; that is how they came if you ordered them from a department store catalog (JC Penny, Sears, Youngdales, etc.)
I can only assume it was done because a pony on a card could get damaged in the mail?

Child me(I'm assuming 12 y.o. me, haha) would be *so* upset about how badly all the baits I've picked up at flea markets have been treated; I didn't take super good care of my ponies, but still! Markers and scissors weren't supposed to be used like that, a trim to get rid of fuzz was one thing... (except for the boys, they got haircuts) Also, 12 y.o. me would be very confused by the playsets, I think; I never really played with any as a kid, I had sandbox "caves" and "canyons" for pony homes(the dirt is firm enough to hold shapes easily here, once you get below the sandy layer)

The thing I'm remembering is a toddler ride on shaped like a pony, with a long handle it was available in pink with blue details or blue with pink details, and 3 round stickers with hearts on them on each side...I want to say it was only in Europe? Ibe been searching for it, but havent found pictures yet. EDIT found a pic of the box, thanks to google and an old ebay auction: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIs this what it looks like?

I found a place in town that pokemon like to nest at. So far, it seems to cycle every few weeks - started with Ponyta, then into Scyther, then Sandshrew, and right now Bulbasaur. I'm up to 99 bulba candies.
If its a 'nest' they should be changing every other Wednesday; if you go to The Silph Road website, you can enter in the location and see what other nests are around you.

The hardest part to me in that kind of hypothetical situation is how do you decide who to sell it to? Like, if its a desirable pony, odds are you know several people who are looking for it...so who gets it? The person whp responds first, rhe one you are closest to, the one who lives in the area and, if luck had been with them, might have found it instead of you, or maybe maybe the one you know has been looking for it forever?
Thays why I've always sold more valuable ponies through auctions, including trades in the pricing usually; its too hard to decide who gets it any other way.

I would simply tell the person you don't want to discuss it through ebay, but they can find you on etsy as "name" or here as "name". If they seriously want the pony, they will be willing to put in a little work, even making an account if they have to would only take a few minutes.

Ember1 has been working on a list of One of a Kind Nirvanas (as far as we know!); its kind of shocking just how many 'only one known' ponies there are! There are 50, not including prototypes; they aren't always the most expensive ponies but they are the rarest. http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,381971.0.html

If you go with painting her legs white again, PLEASE mark her so people know. I had a baby that someone did this with, and the paint came off when I was cleaning her up. If I'd known, I would have been more careful what I cleaned her with.

The known variations are usually called big and small head, since thats the most obvious difference, but yep, their legs are a little different, too. One looks stretched out compared to the other, if I remember right? Like, the mold wasn't quite right and the legs had to be given a tug to make them long enough, or something. I think theres also open and closed spots for the wing tabs, but thats seperate from the 2 bodystyles.

Oxyclean can fade ponies, dry out their hair badly, and twinkle eyes will loose their coating.... and symbol repaints should have a layer of sealer or white paint *under* them to prevent "halos" onlighter colored ponies.
My poor childhood Mimic taught me all of these things, but at least she was not in good shape to start with, having been played with outside constantly in the california sun!

I think if I needed a white earth pony, I would sacrifice a McDonald's Dj Pon3? The molded hair *can* be removed, if needed, and putting actual hair on McD ponies cant be harder than turning an applejack white!

G1s I take home if they are at the flea or yard sales, unless I know another collector is planning on going there that day. If they are in an antique store, it kind of depends; if they are reasonably priced and in fecent condition, and if I haven't found any in that store before, I buy at least one. That way the seller knows someone in the area buys them, and will keep bringing them.
