Good question! I like lots of African accents, myself - especially those from Nigeria, Uganda and Liberia!

I have a relatively small herd and I like to keep it that way. Maybe like 70ish figures? It's been a while since I counted.
I keep every MLP related thing in a large tote bin, and will rotate out ponies seasonally on my computer desk display. I did my last HUGE cull five years ago, and I'm thinking of selling off the extra MIB exclusives I've been hanging onto for a while to clear up a bit more space. 63
Off Topic / Re: Do your cat(s) like strangers?« on: December 27, 2014, 02:48:14 PM »
Two of our four are good with strangers - one just jumps right on their shoulders, the other likes getting ear scratches no matter who's doing it.
The other two are newly adopted and still a bit skittish. The youngest still hides from us if we move a little too fast! 64
Pony Corral / Re: Hold On...There Are Only EIGHT G3 Unicorns?« on: December 27, 2014, 02:40:14 PM »How on earth was that something that needed to be "tested" rather than "no duh pegasus ponies will be popular"? Probably just a flimsy marketing excuse for not wanting to spend another half-cent on the extra plastic required for wings. 65

Unicorns were introduced fairly late into the G3 toyline, and Hasbro was already getting lazy with their releases - less variety and less unique characters, etc. As a result (in my opinion), not many G3 unicorns were produced overall.

Sounds like a 5 gallon setup with a betta is a good fit for you, Prideth! The more I learn about proper fish care, the more guilty I will feel over all the poor fish I had as a kid that died due to my ignorance.
I started researching online and visiting several local fish stores recently - once I have some extra money, I'd love to set up a 29 gallon tank with a fantail goldfish, some live plants and maybe 2-3 dojo loaches. I'm looking forward to the challenge of proper fish care - getting the right foods, keeping the nitrogen levels balanced, rearranging the decor regularly to keep goldy entertained, etc. 68

Oh cool! My poll was put up on the Arena sidebar! Thanks much to whomever did that!
Such a close race too! Looks like white star Ember is ahead by a nose right now... 70

It's Ember, the spectacular chameleon filly! This little girl came in several variations - which color combo do you like best?
I think I often default to Ember's RaMC cartoon color of lavender body and pink hair, because that's how I was originally introduced to her. I do like her all purple/white star look too, but that's probably because purple is my favorite color. 71

This weekend I got my swap gift from Mareacooda!! I've been a little busy the past couple days, so apologies for the delayed post!
visitors can't see pics , please register or login I'm so stoked at all of the perfect stuff Mareacooda found for me! The adorable kitty card reminds me of my big fluffy Franny. The "original laptop" kitty magnet went straight onto my fridge! I got some great ponies too - Juniper Jade, Peri Winkle, Boysenberry Pie and a lovely Applejack that came wrapped in a beautiful box! All the extras were awesome - the flowery bee mug, the handmade rose-scented soap, and all the yummy candy! She even got me some Blue Razzberry Blow Pops!! I haven't had Blue Razz in a long time - I can't find them in stores around here anymore! They taste just as awesome as I remembered! I'll try to make them last, but they're so yummy they may be gone before 2015! Thank you so much Mareacooda - you put together an excellent swap box! I'm so happy! 73
Off Topic / Re: Are Ugg boots worth the money?« on: December 15, 2014, 08:57:15 AM »
I do hope you don't intend to use them as "winter boots" to wear in snow and slush. One of my biggest pet peeves living in Minnesota in the winter is seeing all these young women walking around on campus wearing leggings and Uggs. Uggs are essentially slippers - they're not meant to be used as rugged outdoor weather boots. I can understand wearing them in nicer weather for activities like shopping, etc. But for traveling by foot around slushy, wet city streets/college campuses/etc.? Absolutely not! It sort of amuses me that these gals pay $200 for a pair of "boots" only to totally damage and stain them to kingdom come from all the snow, ice, salt and other chemicals used on streets and sidewalks during the winter.

Heh.... so, my field of study is horticulture. I think that qualifies about half of all ponies ever made. Anyone with a flower symbol, or something planty thereof.
I like ponies with gardening themes on their rumps specifically, though. Like G1 Trickles and G3 Flower Wishes! visitors can't see pics , please register or login (via My Little Pony Love blog) visitors can't see pics , please register or login (via Strawberry Reef) |
