I'm still hunting for Sia pony in stores. Whether she's from the story pack or the single.
I don't want to jump the gun and get her from the world wide web....
I just saw her in the story pack at one of our Walmarts a couple of days ago (they had the Capper and Hippogriff Skystar sets as well). The other Walmarts I've stopped at didn't have those out although one did have the Wave 21 blind bags. I haven't seen the single Songbird yet - I'm waiting for that one myself.

I never had any luck with the boiling water method. I use the flat iron method much like the tutorial RoseNoire posted. Here are a couple of ponies showing my results:

Well darn, I was hoping deflocking was an option for my Twilight, but if the vinyl is stained too, I guess she's of no use and I'll just throw her away.
While there is certainly a chance that the plastic is stained, it's also possible that it's not. I've deflocked two different Magic Stars with stained flocking that were completely fine underneath. The first had marker over one symbol and around her eye - no traces of it under the flocking: The second had nail polish or lipstick all over her hooves and face - again no trace under the flocking: So give it a shot, she may turn out better than you expect.

I think they really overproduced the FIM Apple Family collection - I'm still frequently finding them in stores including Walmart. All the FIM Collection sets after the Sugarcube Corner sets have been tricky to track down. Other than Golden Oak Library set, the Nightmare Night ones only showed up for a short time and the larger story packs only recently showed up at Five Below. Out of Rarity's sets only the Carousel Boutique ever appeared in stores (I'm still looking for the singles and story packs). The smaller Movie sets are showing up in odd places (the small sets at Big Lots and the larger sets at Family Dollar), but I haven't found Canterlot Castle yet.
The boxes of blind bags haven't been very easy either. Some Targets have finally gotten Wave 16 (the first of the three Nightmare Night waves). Wave 17 was only at Walmart packed with the Sugarcube Corner wave (wave 15), and Wave 18 was only at Walgreens last Easter. I am finding Wave 20 fairly often now but no sign of Wave 19 and it's still not uncommon to find the Sugarcube Corner wave or even one of the Apple Family waves instead.

I've got those two, they were at my Five Below stores for half off the original $10 price. I don't think they're too hard to come by, are they?
No, those two were fairly easy to find, but the second wave with Cadance and Twilight were nearly impossible. I never saw them in the US at all - I had to get mine from someone in Canada and I don't think they were all that common there either. Unicorn Twilight is very common though the version with bangs may eventually become hard to find.

Do you remember the sizes available?
I didn't look through them all but I think they had S - XL. It appeared to run on the small/snug side.
