Try a local Flea Market!
Since they lots bunches of Vintage clothes, furniture's, toys, etc. You're bound to find someone with a collection of any Ponies, be prepared for bunches of fakes, Barbies, Furbies, etc.
If you don't find one on your first visit, always go back!
They usually switch up the (some/a few) vendors every week

Not currently. For now, I just put little clips on them that people send with trades, or that I find attached to g3s at flea markets

Songster just arrived and that means my set of Dance n' Prance ponies is complete! About the Collection: - Got all of them over a period of just over a month - I first found out they had a tap dance pony and immediately wanted it. (I am a dancer, recreational dancer) - Once I found they had a line of dance themed ponies, I wanted the entire set - All of their tails twirl fine - They are all from '84 - Wonderful experience with all the sellers and definitely recommend them! As a (G1/G3) buyer, I have to say any pony who has a "haircut".
Frilly and crazy manes aren't a problem for me, a little wash and brush and they're good; but a haircut, can't fix that unless you rehair them!
This one person at the flea market had Cupcake, Cotton Candy and Goodie Goodie all with mohawk haircuts, they were in very good condition otherwise.

I must say, I feel Firefly is the most common G1.
I see her everywhere on Ebay! She seems to be in a good amount of the lots, etc.
I see Cotton Candy a bunch too.

The base came with the curls!
I love them as well.
The first two are a bit frizzy and unraveling, so I should probably fix them up
