Whizzer had a mail order release?  Do you have any more information on that?  I've never heard of the Twinkle-Eyes being available by mail order.
I found it last night and am trying to get back to that page. I clearly remember it stating that is why they are different. I have a lot of internet history to go through so it might be a moment.
Whoops my bad. Getting my pink ponies mixed up. Its was Sprinkles that I was thinking about (did too much reading last night >.<) Playset Sprinkles and Mail order Sprinkles come in two different pinks.

Does anyone know if the French Whizzers tend to be more of one shade or the other?

Gonna hold off on that statement until I can find my source again.

Wanted! / Looking for Sweetberry ponies and Sundae Best!! Even Baits
« on: January 16, 2016, 07:01:37 AM »
Hello! I'm looking for Sweetberry and Sundae ponies! I'll even take some baits depending on how bad they are, I love restoring ponies!
For Sweetberry in particular, I am looking for a Raspberry Jam without bad body head missmatch, and a nice white Cherry Treats!  Also trying to find nice Cranberry Muffins and well look at Boysenberry Pie in almost any condition, she is a favorite of mine and I would like to restore them!
As for Sundae Best, all I have is a NM Sherbet, and a Coco Berry that needs restoring. So I'm really open to getting more of those girls!

I don't have anyone too rare. The most I spent on a pony so far was on NM Blueberry Baskets, she was like 32 or something? My second most expensive would prolly be NM Milkyway and NM Sherbet w barrette and comb.

Sentment wise, Boysenberry Pie, Scoops and a very spotty Cherry Treats. <3

Pony Corral / Re: To re-glitter or not to re-glitter

I'm actually in the process of getting supplies for my regiller projects, I'm checking out some local craft stores to see if they carry a fine enough glitter. But if I can't find it locally, I have been told that this site has very fine glitter and has very close colors. http://www.ccartwright.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_list&c=57

I think most pony problems are endemic to individual ponies and they will get issues or not depending on their particular plastic structure. Mould can spread, but otherwise...*shrug*

Though I am interested in this because sister and I had the TE ponies out a week ago and we discovered Speedy, Sky Rocket and Quackers are all sticky. I generally wash and shampoo (if needed) these ponies and then when they're properly dry, return them to the cupboard, so it's good to know that this seems to be general practice. My cupboard is very cool but the doors are not normally firmly shut. None of the other TEs are affected although they have been standing in sets for the past several years...I have wondered whether I should shunt these three to the end and keep them together just in case, but I don't have space to quarantine them indefinitely.

Sticky is annoying but I can live with it so long as it isn't going to damage the non-sticky ponies.
I have a Speedy, Sky Rocket, Party Time and Galaxy that are all very hard from losing their plasticizer. It seems to be a common thing with TEs, at least from what I've noticed?
Plasticizer, as far as I am aware isn't spreadable. Its just the break down of that particular toy.

Pony Corral / Re: Did anyone NOT have childhood ponies?

Sorta? Its kinda weird. My mom says that I was obsessed and you couldn't pry me away from the tv if it was on and that I had piles and piles of ponies. But I don't remember any of it (thank you ptsd. don't remember care bears either, and that was my nickname for pete's sake haha). So its been interesting, I guess collecting them now and getting little flickers here in there if I see a certain pony hahah.

Pony Corral / Re: 4DE Pony Plushies?
« on: November 05, 2015, 07:13:24 AM »
Oh gosh, I really hope they keep going with them and work out whatever is going on. I really love their plushies!
I'm not a big fan of the Aurora or Build a Bear, (or any others for that matter.)
I've only been interested in collecting 4DE plush or fanmade ; o;
So glad I was able to get Twilight at BC in 2014! (she may need a mint counterpart now tho, mom put her through the wash >.>

Hope this time they pull through!

Thank you everyone for the responses!
I just had the regular brushables as a kid, so learning about all this other merch is really cool!

Its sooooo weird how prices fluctuate! Wild stuff

There are actually a few Pizza Petites- one in each set of the ponytail set, in different colours.
Oh wow! I didn't know that! I've only seen the yellow one with blue hair until now!
Thank you!

I've been looking around for petites and the prices seem to vary a lot?
I'm only really looking for the Pizza Petite. But I'm sure another one will catch my eye lol

What is the average for your basic petite, and what is reasonable for the pizza petite?
I tried looking for her and just, the prices are all over the place!

(Also if you have one for sale, hit me up I may be interested)

Pony Corral / Re: Do you ever take a Hiatus from Pony collecting?
« on: October 05, 2015, 08:03:51 AM »
I take breaks when there is a big thing I want to save up for.
Earlier this year I took a big break, but I don't know if that counts because all the money saved up went to Bronycon instead of ponies on the internet, hahaah.
But yeah, when I'm not on a break, I only get a couple at a time and they have to be ones I really really want or I usually grab some baits and clean them up (which it is surprising to me what some people consider bait and to me is a perfectly fine pony)and hold off for a while.
After October I'm taking a huge break to save up for the sewing machine I really want (to make ponies with, of course). I just think its a normal thing to do really. Buying new ponies, or anything really is a quick way to having too much to quickly to properly  handle it

*SLAMS HANDS ON DESK*
NOW THIS IS THE KIND OF GIMMICKY CONTENT I WANNA SEE

Kinda reminds me a bit like Betty Spaghetti

Seriously though, I think its great that they are making things that will be fun for kids. Having more interactive artsy toys available is really nice to see! No matter how odd adults think it is. Kids first man.

Yay!  Did you happen to get her off eBay from conroyfan?  If so, that was me!  She kind of looks a little like the one I sold there recently so just curious if it went to an arena member!

Either way...So very happy for you! :D

I did!! Thank you so much!!
