Wow! You have a nice nirvana collection!! Please let me know if/when you decide to sell.  I'm eye-balling the Venny Applejack, Columbian Bow Tie and the two Nightlights.... Lovely girls that I'd be happy to welcome into my herd ;)

Now that's rewarding Spring Cleaning. Wish my garage held cool treasures.  it's got oil, car parts and all things potentially hazardous to ponies!   :(

If those two are the ones from a recent eBay auction- yeah! I'd been watching them and hoping they went to a good home :). So happy it was another MLPArena member.  Now, to figure out the history of the  (3)Minty listing by the same seller at about that time....
That minty trio was pretty cool too, no Brazilians though, and all different cutie marks (depending on country of origin I believe)

Good for you!! Pony On!!

Seeing the ponys and girls set out on display like that is awesome.  Mint on Card and Mint in Box will always be super cool, but I'm finding these days, I seem to prefer out of box and off card, so you can do exactly what you've done. Set them up, make a fun scene and enjoy the view.
Good for you!!  Pony On!!

Those flourecent colors had me hooked at age 6 and still do!!  I have one in my collection now.  she was purchased nice and a bit loved (dryer hair, etc), so now she's a pony my daughter and I both enjoy!  I love admiring my 'display only' beauties as much as I love watching my daughter play with 'her' ponies.

Ok- I may play a little with her too... Combing and styling their hair is fun still!

MLP Nirvana / Re: Piggy Brag & Piggy skin issues question

I was wondering who swooped her up- good for you!!!   I am happy she found a great home and someone who is pursuing possible forms of correcting the skin issues that I too have noticed on many Piggys.  Thank you for exploring this fix publicly :)

Enjoy your grail pony!!!

Introductions / Re: Ponies Make Ya Smile

Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes and commiserating with me over the lost treasures.  Just last night I saw a Petite Pony lot for sale with the cottage and several pearl and crystal petite ponies.  The cottage's image brought back many memories, but I promised my hubby I would refrain from collecting the Petite Ponies (for now - insert an evil laugh).

I wish I could take credit for the avatar, but I cannot.  Just something I found, loved and saved.
I will check out the brag board and see how other pony lovers are displaying their 2 inch beauties.  Thank you for the suggestion.  :)

Hope y'all have a TOTALLY AWESOME week!

Introductions / Ponies Make Ya Smile
« on: February 11, 2015, 09:42:01 PM »
Hello!!

My name is Tanya, I'm new to MLP Arena and excited to be rekindling my love of MLPs!!  My parents spoiled me rotten as a child (yikes!) with nearly every pony known from 1982 through about 1988.  Then, years later that amazing collection was sadly sold off at garage sales.  Breaks my heart when I think of it.  So now, in my mid-30s, I am on a mission to collect my favorite ponies.  I have neither the funding nor space to collect ALL that I had growing up but I've found some and enjoy displaying these ponies from which I have so many wonderful memories.

As I've re-entered Ponyville, I found G4 Ponies and oh my goodness!  Let's just say history may be repeating itself with my daughters and those awesome brush-ables and blind bag/mini ponies.

I reside in Arizona, work full-time from home (what a blessing), have a loving husband and three kids that baffle and amaze me regularly.  When traveling for work with co-workers, occasionally they catch me checking out EBay or other MLP websites/images and look at me with utter confusion. To which I proudly reply, "I love my ponies!!!".

My collection is a mix of G1 ponies that are special to me in some way.  They're in new condition but out of package- I prefer to display them this way :) I'm still on a mission to find Twice as Fancy Dancing Butterflies Baby and Twice as Fancy Sugarberry Baby.
My daughter has a collection of G4 Brush-ables and Blind Bag ponies which my husband would say teeters on spoiling - but come on- it's PONIES!!  Can we really have too many??? Nope.
My collection of G4 Blind Bag ponies (euro variant) consists of ~ 2/3 of Wave 1, a handful of Wave 4, most of Wave 5, 6, 7 and 8.  I need to fill in Wave 2 and 3.
I also need to find a display case(s) Wave Ponies and was hoping a forum such as this could point me in the right direction.  If you know of where to acquire a display case for (24) ponies and their cards, I'd sure appreciate the advice.

Well - that's my long winded Intro.  I am looking forward to sharing many smiles and pony chats with fellow MLP fans.
Thanks for reading :)
