Hello!!
My name is Tanya, I'm new to MLP Arena and excited to be rekindling my love of MLPs!! My parents spoiled me rotten as a child (yikes!) with nearly every pony known from 1982 through about 1988. Then, years later that amazing collection was sadly sold off at garage sales. Breaks my heart when I think of it. So now, in my mid-30s, I am on a mission to collect my favorite ponies. I have neither the funding nor space to collect ALL that I had growing up but I've found some and enjoy displaying these ponies from which I have so many wonderful memories.
As I've re-entered Ponyville, I found G4 Ponies and oh my goodness! Let's just say history may be repeating itself with my daughters and those awesome brush-ables and blind bag/mini ponies.
I reside in Arizona, work full-time from home (what a blessing), have a loving husband and three kids that baffle and amaze me regularly. When traveling for work with co-workers, occasionally they catch me checking out EBay or other MLP websites/images and look at me with utter confusion. To which I proudly reply, "I love my ponies!!!".
My collection is a mix of G1 ponies that are special to me in some way. They're in new condition but out of package- I prefer to display them this way
I'm still on a mission to find Twice as Fancy Dancing Butterflies Baby and Twice as Fancy Sugarberry Baby.
My daughter has a collection of G4 Brush-ables and Blind Bag ponies which my husband would say teeters on spoiling - but come on- it's PONIES!! Can we really have too many??? Nope.
My collection of G4 Blind Bag ponies (euro variant) consists of ~ 2/3 of Wave 1, a handful of Wave 4, most of Wave 5, 6, 7 and 8. I need to fill in Wave 2 and 3.
I also need to find a display case(s) Wave Ponies and was hoping a forum such as this could point me in the right direction. If you know of where to acquire a display case for (24) ponies and their cards, I'd sure appreciate the advice.
Well - that's my long winded Intro. I am looking forward to sharing many smiles and pony chats with fellow MLP fans.
