Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Poopsie QT Unicorns

Not gonna lie, I'm happy for these, because they're brushable unicorns and especially BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT BLIND TOYS. I like the Sparkly Critters from Poopsie but there's no way to tell which one is which and I'm so NOT up to waste money on the ones I don't want.

This said, there's a moon sticker near the green one which probably means it glows in the dark  :P

Cloudees, Breakout Beasts and Crystal Creatures! I'll still snag a Safiras every now and then  :P

You'd think that with the current unicorn craze brushable horsie toys (ok, more unicorns than anything else but still) would be more popular than ever

I miss the fun gimmicks even if they could be unnecessary sometimes. I mean, do ponies with glitter or GITD bits in clear plastic have any reason NOT to sell (other than it costs money to make)?

I don't know if I mentioned this before but earlier this year I found Medley at a toy shop in London! I was very surprised and glad I found her.

Nowadays, how much should I expect to pay for Basic Fun Moonstone? I've decided to get her, but I'm not entirely sure where to start (none on Amazon, unsure of eBay's prices, European who doesn't want to pay triple for shipping overseas)

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Cloudees?

Has anyone heard of these blindbag cloud-themed animal toys? There are big ones that come with two pieces of clothing/accessories (and some weird cous-cous like """slime""") and stand straight, and small ones that are more "pet" like with no accessories. Both come poofy interchangeable tails.

Same character but different models under the spoiler for comparison

I really like these dolls. Slime aside which I don't care about, they're like a combination of LPS (big, colorful eyes with shapes), Care Bears (animals that live on the clouds and expand the weather/sky theme that some bears like Grumpy, Cheer or Funshine have) and even Poopsie (similar pose and body plan, kinda "stylish").

I really like how they went all with the weather/sky theme. Cloud-shaped eyebrows and pupils (they kinda look like Hypnotoad tho but i admire the commitment), but especially how the eyelashes look like snowflakes, lightning bolts or sun rays, or tear drops... it's very clear they had a lot of fun designing these!

And they're very good function-wise too. For now I only own one, Surly Panda, but she stands straight very well (especially with shoes on). Maybe it's because I'm gentle and I don't have kids who play with these, but seems that there's not gonna be many shoes falling off of these or clothes lost.

I want to go back and update this post with collection sheets, photos and stuff, but first... have you seen these before? Do you own some? Do you want some? Who's your favourite? What's your opinion?

I used to play Marapets! My favourite pets from there are Yunis (edgy, fun-sized unicorns!), Sybris (one-eyed, fun-sized smiling zebras!) and Strayas (poodle-unicorn sorta critters that look straight from Lady Lovely Locks!)

I own the Unicorn! It's been a while since I booted it up but I guess I could answer something about it if you're curious :) If anyone has seen the trolls ones tell me! I'm very curious about them and there has been little to nothing on the internet

:lookround: uhhh I don't like these. They're visually too loud for me. Also not a big fan of when the eyes and mouth OVERPOWER every single other facial feature. Don't get me wrong I know big eyes = cute but there needs to be a balance.

I don't know how un/popular she is, but I like G3 Rarity  :lookround:

So anyone have Aquagem from S1?
I noticed mine out of the slime had it's mane/tail/forelock in an opaque color but after a few days those pieces are partly now transparent. Are those pieces for her supposed to be like that and were they only opaque due to the slime?

My Aquagem's mane/tail is also traslucent, with white and blue "bits" into the plastic. A bit uneven in my case, but it'll do.

I'd looove to add more plushies to my collection! So far I've got a Tenderheart, a bootleg Cheer Bear I got from a carnival, a small Hopeful Heart, and a World's Smallest Share Bear (who can resist such a lovely milkshake symbol?). They're all from the most recent release of Care Bears, and I'm not necessarily looking for retro bears.

I'm very tempted on the BAB Care Bears but I don't know if I should get those or wait until the Unlock the Magic ones come here. I'd especially love another Cheer Bear. I have a soft spot for Carnival Cheer since she's a funfair prize, but she's stiff and scratchy  :yikes:

As far as I know, the golden/silver slime is the worst, the sticky kind. Other slimes have had more consistency and thus more manageable. I tend to dig it up from holes using a toothpick or even the BB/CC's unicorn horns

I'd be very sad to see the Basic Fun ponies go, but I'm very grateful for all the ponies they gave us! I got a Medley from them and I love her to bits

That's too bad, Ragamuffin, Friend Bear is so nice... recently I got a capsule figurine of them, and it's the nicest one I got so far! All I got before was two silly-looking Good Lucks, a Bedtime and a Funshine.

But I do agree they should expand the line later on. Bring back the rest of the bears! Especially the rest of the main 10 ones (Birthday, Friend, Love-A-Lot...), although I'd love it if they added some of the 2000s bears (as I said before, one of my faves is Do Your Best) and the cousins!
