Bought a nirvana off Ebay, still awaiting its arrival from overseas (should be any day now). From the auction pics I can see her eye paint is almost completely gone on both sides, so I am looking for someone who can restore her (repaint her eyes). She is a Greek Baby, so I specifically want her eyes done in the style of other Greek babies, which is distinct from other regular issue G1s. I tried PMing a couple artists from the commissions thread in the Customs forum but haven't received responses (PMs sent over a week ago).
I do have a favorite customs artist who I think does AMAZING work, but she is located in Europe and after having already waited 2+ weeks for this pony to arrive I can't bear the thought of waiting for two more transatlantic crossings. Therefore, I am looking for a customs artist who is based in the US (will consider Canada, but US is preferred).
I do request that if you contact me please be prepared to show pics of your work restoring paint work on other nirvanas. Thank you.

Hate to say it but the CP Gusty AND the Baby Gusty that ended on 5/12 BOTH ENDED WITHOUT BIDS. $250 was the starting price but no one bid. FYI.

Thanks for the suggestion Katgyrl. Turns out Salli is going up with her family and can't carpool from OR.
If there is ANYONE at all coming from the general Portland area (or passing through here) who wants to carpool PLEASE get in touch with me! I have my own car and I can drive if you chip in for gas, or if someone else wants to drive (preferred) I can chip in for gas! Honestly I want to go but I probably won't unless I can find someone to go with because 6+ hours in the car all by myself isn't something I want to do :/

Hey kitkat, it's nice to see you I sold off most of my ponies (along with most of my possessions in general) when I moved across the country last year. I was looking through my former collection pics last night, and let me tell you, I definitely regret selling off so many of my nirvanas! The only nirvanas I kept were Italy Sparkler and Mexican CC! I know part of my reasoning, too, was wanting to raise money for the move, but now I'm spending all my money on trying to rebuild my collection (and is it just me or do many nirvanas just seem harder to come by now?). Anyway hopefully I'll be seeing more of you around here; I'm jealous of many of your ponies but especially your awesome sleeve

Hey Lady_manson  I have to say, I'm glad you still have the same username, because if you'd changed it I wouldn't have recognized it and wouldn't have looked at this thread I remember you sent me some really great G1 drawings in a trade we did years ago; I think I still have them somewhere (but I lost track of a lot of stuff in my recent move from DC to Portland, OR). Thanks everyone; it's great to see you all, too, especially the familiar faces Avene, I don't know if Ashley uses the Arena anymore, but she and I are friends on Facebook and I'm pretty sure she still has her ponies. Nessa, I'm afraid to say so, but Ashley has since moved to CA! But hey, the fewer collectors there are in your area the more chance you have of getting the goods at yard sales and thrift stores, right?
