Sorry for not replying to everyone's comments individually, between one of my coworkers going on vacation, and the Superbowl yesterday, I've had to do a lot of overtime this week, and most of my home time has been spent sleeping. Got a few more entries with amazing pony art in, so much talent going into one image.

Edit: Still not done my image, but thinking about the background. Wondering if it would be better to go with a landscape for our ponies to frolick in, or keep them floating in a more abstract setting. Any thoughts?

Heya, I've been MIA lately, work is slowly killing me. Hope everyone has been having fun with their pony art so far, I've already received two beautiful entries and can tell this is going to be amazing.

I've got the sketch for mine done, but need to find the time and motivation to really work on it. Still close to a month left!

Slowly making progress, finally made it to Poni island! The plot twist I called way ahead, but overall it was pretty decently done. I will say I can appreciate Team Skull a little more than the first impression based on a lot of dialogue in Po town, but I still can't get over the flailing hands. 

Anyway, I had one of those fail moments. I was just running around fighting all the trainers in Poni Wilds, get into a wild encounter, "oh hey Gastrodon, time to run..." But there was this random little star, and I'm just wondering what that meant as I never noticed that happening before...then I'm all skeptical, "no, that is NOT a shiny." Seriously, I ran into one right before and it was the same colour. So of course, I have to catch this 'star' Pokemon (and have a whole other fail moment deciding what attack to use in fear of knocking it out, when my Salazzle is sitting there practically waving that she has dragon rage). And yep, the game wants to convince me it's a shiny. Comparing them side by side, I can notice the lighter body, but seriously, if I wasn't looking at the screen I would have just run away. The shiny indicator doesn't seem as prominent in this gen either. But hey, first shiny of gen 7 for me, I can't complain about that.

And now I need to get back to saving Nebby.

I hear you. I already had little interest in the figures honestly, but between the EB releases being packaged differently than the TRU ones, plus Genesect being left out, I just felt it was less collectable than the plush and pins/TCG.

I'm trying to figure out how to display mine too, I think I'm for sure keeping them attached in their little bags, but my tiny Pokemon shelf is a huge mess right now and I don't know how I want to sort things. Right now mine are just hanging off to the side too. I think having them stacked can be a nice display actually, a little wall of mythical legendaries~

I mentioned awhile back I was tempted by Celebi, and after debating I decided to pass because I want to downsize. But then there was a 40% sale, so I kind of checked back in. Celebi was sold out at the TRU I went to, and was like, "it's for the best, I don't NEED it"...of course, I made the mistake of telling my mom, and this was back in Nov/Dec when my mom scrambles for any hints on things I want (I'm difficult around Christmas).

So anyway, a little after Christmas passed, I hopped into TRU, and my mom asked if they had the Celebi? Then she admits that she went and got a rain check for the sale price, after calling all the TRUs in our area to find one in stock with no luck. They didn't, but she gave me the r.c. anyway in case I find it later, but she also got a quantity of two...and I happened to have enough credit for two from TRU from a price exchange on something else I received for Christmas...

So now I'm a proud owner of Celebi and Meloetta. My second choice would have been Mew, but that was an EB exclusive, then it would have been Victini but I really dislike the ears on the plush, So when I saw Meloetta, I went for her. Though they had Shaymin at the store too, and now I'm super tempted to pick one up too, as well as the Mew with Pokeball at EB. Ugh! My mom opened up a door I didn't want to go through! But at least the two I picked up were nearly half off so it was a justified purchase, AND technically a late Christmas gift.

Anyway, pictures because Meloetta's month got overshadowed by Sun and Moon.

I decided not to do a second pony because I have a valentines art project that I want to work on. I saw sign ups close today so I just wanted you to know that I'm only doing Night Glider 

No problem, I was going to bail out on participating because I have other projects I want to focus on, but it wouldn't be as fun to host without contributing. I'm looking forward to your Nightglider.

I had to pass this time round but this is going to be amazing, I'm really looking forward to the finished compilation!

You'll be missed Griffin. But, yes, we do have an amazing line up of artists and ponies, I can't wait for all the art to roll in!

May I participate? If I could I would like to do g1 Galaxy and G4 Twilight Sparkle, and I do traditional art mainly but I could try digital art if I can't find a decent area for the lighting
