What a haul! So much lovely, fun stuff! And now I can identify your Twilight doll. It's the Slumber Party doll and that is her clothing. :) Seems to be missing the other part of it, though. (At least if I remember right that she had pajama bottoms too.) Your horse model is intriguing.

Thanks so much for all the help, Baby Sugarberry and LostPony! :) I don't think I can drill a hole into the laptop, as yes, it is very thin. But something here should definitely work! I will be sure to post my results once I get everything I need and hopefully get something to work. I am definitely worried since I only have one shot at this, probably. Megabloks laptops aren't easy to come by and I had to buy a playset to get this one, LOL.

We bought it, but since I'm in Canada my info would not help you. I really enjoyed the movie, though, for what that's worth.

Yeah, I love the movie and hope I'll be able to get it soon. :)

I checked the shelf tags at my Walmart and they said the price break is good through today.

Ponyfan

Aww, thanks! Wasn't able to get out, but maybe mine didn't have the lower price anyway. And I was hoping to pay less than $18 for it. I'll see what happens in the future....

Baby Sugarberry, yeah, I'm trying to put the laptop on as the head. Thanks for the tip!

Lostpony, thanks for your suggestion and instruction! True, I remember how well your mixture has worked for you. :) Awesome!

Well, hee, it will probably sound strange to anyone not in the Ninja Tutles 1987 fandom, but I'm trying to attach a small plastic laptop toy onto a small plastic Mega Bloks figure. There is a computer in that series that generated a body for himself out of solid energy and I am trying to replicate that.

Oooh, good point. I need it to be clear. Would it say on the package how it would dry?

So not all Wal-Marts have the same price. Hmm. That means I should check ours this week, if possible. Do you know how long the sale price was going to last?

Livejournal has a Scrapbook section for uploading pictures and provides links and such for message boards, just in case you want another option too. :) But it sounds like you're all set! I haven't heard of PostImage; I shall have to check it out!

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know what Wal-Mart is charging in-store for Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast? It just came out on DVD this past day. Online I can't find anything cheaper than $19.99 and I was hoping that there would be better prices for the first week or so. I had wanted to go out and see, but I didn't get to, and I'm worried that by the time I definitely can get to Wal-Mart on Monday, any sale prices will be gone. But if I knew there definitely was a nice sale price, maybe I could figure out a way to get there this week. On the other hand, if $20 is the cheapest, I won't have to feel too bad if I don't make it out. LOL.

So long story short, I'm hoping to make a custom (non-Pony) figure with a Mega Bloks figure. But it will require me to somehow attach something onto it. I'm wondering what you wonderful Pony customizers use to hold things together (or to attach ears or limbs if you're resculpting new ones for a bait Pony, etc.)? Is there a kind of glue that actually works? Seems like every glue I've ever tried, even super glue, doesn't last once you start trying to handle the toy. And I don't mean rough playing or anything; just gently holding it or gently playing with it/setting up photoshoots seems to break the piece off again. I am so disgusted with glue, but I don't know what else there is to use....

What a fun day! You chose some really neat pictures for the post. So many beautiful flowers, and wow, what an intriguing cow sculpture thing. You did some great angles with the sun, too! He certainly looks happy these days!
