Sometimes I wish, as much as I respect Lauren Faust, that she wouldn't have put the idea of FiM being the manliest of manly things into the heads of easily impressed young males.

Used to play. I was into the Legacy format and had a Dredge deck. But it got a bit expensive and time on the other hand ran short.
Also the folks in the local gaming stores weren't fun to play with.

So I've migrated to Duels of the Planeswalkers on PC.

I'm curious.  I don't know anything about the person your talking about.  *Why* do you think there is a more justifiable target?  Is he making thousands of dollars on what he is selling?

I have no idea how many of those things he actually sells but...


Call me biased, but I'd have to answer: because he's selling (imho) poorly made copies, as 3D printouts still are, of the G4 brushables that require zero effort unlike plushies or other traditional customs.
And he's using a name that sounds suspiciously familiar to Hasbro.
And on top of that, last time I've seen him advertising his stuff on certain imageboards, he even used official art like the MLP logo.
Hasbro couldn't be too happy about it.

Ha, i actually wish we would see more of the toy characters in the show.
I feel like they look better than a lot of the background ponies, who seem to be rather lacking in multi-colored manes and such.
I also think a lot of people consider the toys to be "inaccurate" just because they come with brushable manes.

My belief is they're just scared of spending any effort to get the toys to have a decent hairstyle. Resin manes (which are appearantly highly sought after) are just an easy (yet expensive) way out.

Heh, some people simply dislike everything that came before G4. They just dislike G3,5 the most.


And while I wouldn't say that I hate 3.5, I can clearly see why the design would scare people away.
