I have her and love her soooooo much! Her body coloring is just gorgeous, this lovely soft blend of gray and lavender that feels so utterly unique, and her symbol is cute to boot! Her fullset accessories are the icing on the cake too, she's so elegant and feminine. Definiately a favorite!

That shade of teal for her hair is beautiful!
She looks very sweet, but overall a pass for me. But I've never seen/heard of her before, so it's always fun to learn about new ponies!

Awww, I didn't realize Sweetheart Sisters, or the Ballerina ponies (as were brought up) were so unpopular! I admit, I have a soft spot for both of them as they were the only G1 ponies I had growing up  To be honest, I didn't even realize my SHS was an actual My Little Pony! I had all sorts of horse and pony toys as a kid, and because she looked so different from the cartoons I just assumed she was another random pony toy!

I can't see how someone could be so self-absorbed that they believe a franchise should end for all future generations just because they personally don't like it.
I see this over and over again in the TMNT fandom, fans kicking up a huge fuss every time a new gen of turtles comes along that they don't agree with, and acting like no one else is ever allowed to like something different than them. It's absolutely ridiculous. No one has to like 100% of everything a franchise does, especially one that's been around as long as TMNT or MLP.
Certainly, free speech allows us to voice our displeasure or discuss aspects we may disagree with. No one can or should take that away. We're a diverse audience and like diverse things in our shows and toys. Which also means that there will also be people who take legitimate joy out of things many may deem as "awful".

If we're talking strictly G1's, maybe about...20? I'm not entirely certain as they're currently in storage, but I know they all fit in one rather small bin. Well, actually, I forgot about the babies. So maybe around 30?
Truthfully, even though I grew up with the G1 cartoon and had a couple G1s as a child, I didn't really collect them. So as much as I love and and appreciate them, I'm not as drawn to them when it comes to adding to my collection. Nowadays, I'm trying to be more and more particular with collecting items, so I doubt I'll be adding a whole lot more overall.

I LOVE holiday/seasonal themed ponies, so this gorgeous girl is definitely a gem in my collection! Mine does have a small scuff (I can't remember where since she's packed away now, but it wasn't on her symbol), but she's still beautiful

I don't like her very much and it honestly makes me kinda sad haha  I usually love white ponies and her pose is so pretty, but there's just something about her that feels very...boring? I think it's her symbol and maybe I'd like her better if she had another color streak in her hair.

Aside from a few random thrift store finds and Christmas gifts, I sort of forgot about pony collecting last year  But it's a new year! And I may or may not have already placed an order on eBay for a few new ponies to make their way home to me... What about you!? I'd love to hear about your very first pony purchase for 2021!!

I had a dream last night that I was at Target and on the shelf was the very first pony toys released for G5. I first saw Applejack, which I figured made sense as she's a classic, and let me tell you...this pony was SO CUTE!!! It looked like a blend of G1 and G3 and it was SO pretty and cute and I absolutely loved her! Soon after I saw more ponies, I think Big Mac and then another boy pony without a name. It was so exciting, because there was a definite vibe of returning to the ways of G1 and G3 by releasing lots of unique ponies, regardless of weather or not they were in a show.
I'll tell you, I was so disappointed to wake up and realize those ponies weren't real. I wish I could picture them more clearly, but all I remember is they were SOOOOOOO freaking adorable!!!

G3!
Even though I grew up watching the 80's cartoons, I didn't actually own a lot of of actual official My little Ponies so I don't really have as strong an attachment to the toys as others my age might. Of course I still greatly appreciate them and think they're lovely, but as I really started getting into collecting a few years ago, the variety and charm of G3s completely won me over!
