Pony Corral / Re: FiM Gameloft - General Discussion & User IDs - Thread II
« on: September 21, 2015, 03:06:54 PM »
In our games, it's hit or miss.

On my primary game (iPhone 4), I haven't been able to watch videos for quite some time.  It constantly tells me "no internet connection", which is clearly not true.  I just assumed that it was due to an older device that isn't being supported anymore.  There are several other games in which this is an issue, but I see no need to upgrade to a new phone just to play games.  The ability to watch gems disappeared a few days ago.  I've also not been receiving hearts, though I try to send them.  On this device, I've received the bonus 5 gems and 10 gems.

On my secondary game (Android Tablet), I was able to watch videos until a few days ago.  This is a newer tablet, as my son accidentally dropped and broke our other one back in July.  As there was no back-up copy, the game was restarted.  This game also does not receive hearts.  On this device, I've received the Toy Shop, 5 gems, and 10 gems.

The third game (was my daughter's, she got bored, my son took over, then he got bored) is on an iPad 1 (?).  It barely gets played anymore.  I accessed it a few days ago, no videos, no hearts, and no bonus items.

As I said, hit or miss.

Thanks for the reply.

Should I make a note of her user name (when she picks one) in my sig?  Make a note of my name in her sig?

Since she is now 14, we'll most likely set up an account for her this weekend.  After, of course, I have her read the rules!

The Queen Chrysalis doll is definitely in the US.  We (actually my daughter saw her first) found her at TRU in Indianapolis, IN (Castleton Mall) earlier this evening.  She is $19.99.

The Pony Mania line is slowly trickling in.  Three weeks ago it was FS Daring Do.  Two weeks ago, Princess Celestia.  Today was Maud Pie and Queen Chrysalis.  No sign yet of the Friendship Blossom Collection.

As for the second wave of the Rockin Hair dolls, we finally found a set at Target about 3 weeks ago.  I'm still looking for another set for my daughter.

I'm not sure this is in the right place...

My daughter will be turning 14 soon, and wants to join the Arena.  Although she has her own e-mail account, we share a computer and wifi connection (iPad).

Who do I need to contact so that her account would not be seen as a duplicate?  What, if any, additional information will I need to provide?

Thanks,

Off Topic / Re: How do you celebrate your wedding/dating anniversary?
« on: August 17, 2015, 04:35:10 PM »
Congratulations on 10 years!

My husband and I actually celebrate 2 anniversaries, our first date, and our wedding.  Since most of the time, they fall on work/school nights, my husband brings dinner home.  No cooking or dishes for me!!!

Last year, however, was the 25th anniversary of our first date, and luckily, it was on a Friday night.  We dropped the kids off with my mother, then went to a really nice (expensive!) restaurant.

We had planned to go out-of-town for our 10th wedding anniversary, but something came up.  This year is our 18th.  I think hubby is thinking about something big for our 20th.

Sorry if this is old news, but a quick search didn't turn up anything.

I found these today at Meijer (Indianapolis, IN).  They were $9.99 each.

Here is a size comparison:

Rainbow Dash: 8 55635 00584 1
Twilight Sparkle: 8 55635 00585 8

They are made by Canal Toys USA, LTD.  The back of the package shows only these two.

I am, by no means, an expert, but here goes...
(additions and corrections are always welcome!)

I'm not sure I'd classify her as a floppy pillow plush.  When I think of a floppy pillow plush, I think of Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Sunny Daze and Sparkleworks.

Behold Sunny Daze in the top row.

Yes, I do have all four:

To me, she's more like the XL Plush (fluffy hair).  Those are Pinkie Pie, 25th Anniversary Pinkie Pie, Sweet Song, and Toola Roola.

She was in a set with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash (who I also have pictures of in the same album) - they were sold in the UK in 2008 but I don't know about other countries.

As far as I know, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were UK only.

Fluttershy (with Wall-E), 25th Anniversary Pinkie Pie (with Eve), and Rainbow Dash can be seen here:

There was also Shenanigans, in this style, but she had fabric hair.  If memory serves, I got her from a member here years ago.  I *think* she came from the UK (or was it Germany?).

I think I recall that Fluttershy was in the assortment with Toola Roola, Sweetsong, and Pinkie Pie. I'm pretty sure halicabi has/had one in her massive G3 plush collection.

 Thanks, I do have a :lookround: few :lookround: of them!

Here's another photo of her.  Of course, she's in hiding!

My children have a TON of dinosaurs!

I'll have my future Paleontologist (my daughter) take pictures in the morning!  She's also looking forward to the movie (and to ignoring all discrepancies with reality)!

My son, the future Ornithologist, also wants to see it.

My son loves these, along with the DigiBirds.  He got his first ones for Christmas, and it has exploded from there.  Since he wants to be an Ornithologist, these are right up his alley.  Then again, he's 11 and still has plenty of time to change his mind!

Oops, one didn't make it into the picture...

And, of course, since my son's collecting them, my daughter (age 13) wanted in on them too, thankfully to a lesser degree:

I purchased one yesterday.  I'm almost sure it's the same plush as the Target Valentine's one.  I won't know for sure until my daughter opens hers, and I can compare them.
