The plushies took a while to grow on me. I thought they looked ultra weird, even when I got my first two in hand through a lot. My first instinct was to move them on pretty pronto, but then, I dunno... I became quite taken with what at the time I considered grandiose ugliness  They've now grown into a bit of a collection obsession - I now simply love them! I have almost all (but no applause plush yet). I don't know if I'll ever be able to obtain Honeycomb or Surprise. They seem to be (not factoring in those utterly adorable PJ plushies) the hardest and most expensive to obtain. The babies are pretty pricey, too. I have Baby Lofty, but am yet to get Lickety Split or, suprise surprise, Baby Surprise.

I've only just (very) recently developed an interest in G3. Thus far I've managed to pick up two birthflowers in a lot that I bought - January and August. I love the colours of December - very pretty, so I'd happily keep an eye out for her. And September, being my birth month!

Sort of a game.... shall we play? Ever had a pony on your want list, but never seem to ever come across said pony?! And yet, you might have had several of a harder to find counterpart?  Or, it could even be that you've needed/need one last particular pony from a set, but you keep getting a different one? I'll start with two examples.... I've had at least three Flat Foot Peachys... but I just can't seem to get hold of a FF Blossom! (And this one is sort of cheating... since I now have the pony I coveted... but still!!) I had at least four SS Crumpets go through my hands before I was able to get hold of SS Gusty  Now your turn!

I like Pillow Talk and Pink Dreams the best out of this set. I have all the ponies; a couple of the babies are in rougher condition so it'd be nice to upgrade them one day. I think the accessories to this set are very cute - I have most, I think. Still a few bits and pieces needed to complete it all, though

Woo! I've missed a decent bit of pony chat!  but let me tell you g3 is so fun with the bright colors and not all just pinks. Super fun to style. Is there anyone in particular you are looking for?
Yes - I do like that there is some neat colour variety with G3 - definitely one of the things that attracted me to them  I don't think I have any in particular that I am looking for, though I would love to get all the unique winter and valentine ponies It's funny, I've seen Pepperberry pop up quite a bit when I've been looking over ebay. But that has been just the US I've been glancing over.

I think the lovely colours and symbol combinations are what caught me to begin with, and (confession time) I have bought a couple of lots so my thread has been partly researching whether I had obtained anything of particular interest, too The trouble is, is because there are so many pretty ponies, I'm gonna have trouble stopping now that I'm on a roll Great info, too, BlushingBlue, re the babies, thanks! Jingle Jangle happens to be one that I got, so that's pretty exciting I can't wait to get my new ponies on hand

I think I definitely want to target these winter and valentine ponies - I am a bit of a sucker for those themes. And Pumpkin Tart is adorable!
You know, I think I may have had some beginners luck on something... Those three black Friday ponies... I may have those on route in a lot that I picked up... Are they really quite hard to find?

I've always been a die hard G1 fan; rather steadfast and never keen to venture. Nor frankly (  ) did I really care for other mlp generations. I have however always had a soft spot/tolerance for G3. And it seems that tolerance has turned more into a keener interest... or rather... she's rather cute... oh, I like her colours... hmm, nice symbol... Dang it... now my collection is growing So, you G3 lovers, as I join your ranks, catch me up on years of ignorance! I'm familiar with the strawberry reef guide on rare ponies, but I'm interested to know what sort of lays beyond that in terms of which ponies collectors have generally found to be popular/sought after/harder to find, based on both store/mail order release and your collecting experiences - both baby and adult ponies.

Unfamiliar with the set, the first time I saw Sugar Apple in someone's pic (here, on the arena in my early days of collecting) I was like, WHO is that pony and I NEED her in my life!
I like this set a lot overall, but Sugar Apple gets my vote by a country mile!
