Have SS Surprise and North Star, want SS Truly, Lofty, and Magic Star.

Why only count these five as the first set though?

I've opened every one I've bought. Toys are playthings, not paintings.

About 10 years ago I had a computer crash.
Much of my old digital art, works in progress, finished pieces, PSD files was lost. Also high-quality scans of traditional art I had given away...

If anyone remember old Elfwood I had a account there and since my computer broke I at least had a lot small resized art saved on their servers. Naive as I was I though elfwood would be around forever so the last remains of my old art was deleted when the site closed down all of a sudden.
It might not have been good art but it´s still fun memories and a way to see development compared to new art.
Always remember to do backup of your stuff, people.
I remember Elfwood... Such a shame it went belly-up

Lots of old drawings of mine from when I was little have of course never survived the years. And I've lost a lot of painstaking sprite edits to computers dying on me.

But the two lost pics that stick in my mind the most would have to be the first two pictures I ever put up on the internet, on the silly little personal website I created in the late '90s:
A picture of Thomas the Tank Engine pulling a truck with Tai from Digimon in his cab, and Skarloey puffling along beside a lake with a train. I think I forgot to snag them off Geocities when salvaging the rest of the site before the shutdown, and then I lost my original downloads of the site anyway. And they weren't cached when Archive.org archived the pages.

Updated with some Power Rangers wants. One of which couldn't fit in the title.

Haha, nice! Puts my pic to shame, tbh

I don't think so, I really like your picture, it's so fun and dynamic!

...Side note, can you imagine if the cartoon had run long enough to feature Colorswirl Ponies? They'd have been walking animation error factories XD

This isn't quite related to the challenge so I hope it's still alright for me to post this here, your comment made me wonder what she'd look like in the MLP n Friends style, so here she is using some lineart I made recently:

Gator, that is amazing!

I think I have to side with ZeldatheSwordsman here, though - trying to inspire people to make some new art. :) So let's wait for another Megan & pony pic!

(but please don't remove yours Gator, the more the merrier!)
The judge has spoken.
And agreed, that pic is a wonderful thing. It's extra-cool to see because it's the source of your avatar!

ZeldaTheSwordsman she looks so RAD!
Hehe, thanks! The skateboarding was inspired by her long hair - I wanted her to be doing something that would have that hair trailing behind her in the breeze.

That's a very awesome piece, but I think posting existing art somewhat defeats the purpose. But that's ultimately Griffin's call, so I guess we're waiting for her to weigh in.

Went with the G1 version because A. G1 bias and B. I'd never drawn a Colorswirl Pony before.

The next challenger should do something with Megan and a pony.

Welp, I'm going to try offering commissions again since I could use extra cash to help support my gf and I don't see myself realistically getting a job at this time, especially not one that balances well with Fall semester...

Art is traditional art, sketched in pencil and inked with felt-tip, and colored with colored pencil (sometimes aided by markers) for color pics. Not doing backgrounds at this time, apologies in advance.

Rates: $10 for a single character lineart, $5 for an additional character or additional image of same character. $3 extra for color. Complexity surcharges may also apply depending on character drawn.

Payment is through PayPal. PM me if you're interested.
By the way... Film Roll, the Flutter Pony there, is actually an adoptable and still for sale.

Who is Eclipse?

It's the new user interface for DeviantArt.
Yes, and I'm not very fond of it. They've undone some of the stupid changes made when it was introduced, but different ones have popped up since.

I just got two of the hats!!! The baseball cap & the hardhat. Both fit nicely onto the G1s' heads. I may get the Tracks hat in different colours for other Custom Boys in my collection.

They have other things too & I got a blue guitar & a pink Pony roll-along toy. Think I'll be getting more of those too in different colours

Oh fantastic!

You would think with 3D printers being more and more commonplace that we might start to get a good proliferation of quality repros.

Might be a while until a wig wam headdress appears though!  :cloud:
Yeah... anything that has to be bendy like that isn't so good for 3D printing; the printers use stiff resin.
You could probably make a lower-grade replica by printing one of the laid-out photos (or a scan of the headdress laid out), mounting it to cardstock, and cutting it out. Wouldn't be the greatest quality, but it would at least provide the look in the meantime.

Gosh, thanks all of you!

I confess that I have yet to get around to decorating these. I also realized I didn't share a somewhat embarrassing after-the-fact discover here.

I also discovered that I didn't have as big a stock of milk bottles as I thought, I'm 5 short of what I need for the Flutter case. Oops! To the store!
Remember this?

...Turns out I did have the big stock of milk bottles after all, I'd just spectacularly failed to find them and didn't discover that until after completing the case.   :dizzy:
