Uh oh. My Snowcatcher has been in storage for a long time now. I had no idea she was prone to that.  I remember Feathermay and Twilight being the worst offenders, often mismatched while still on store shelves. It's the reason why I never bothered getting Feathermay despite liking her design.

I scraped the bottom of the barrel at my Target today! There were no Lily Blossoms left and just a few of the rest. Mostly Pinkie and Fluttershy.
I got Rarity for myself and Lyra to sell.

I'd say $2 - $3 for the McD's ponies, $1 for Cheerilee if she's in bad shape. Maybe you could stretch $2/$3 if she comes with her stand brush.
$15 - $18 for FS Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. $20 for Twilight, more if she has accessories. That version is getting harder to find since she is no longer a unicorn and likely won't be re-released as one.
Last PC I got for Lily Blossom was $10 - $12. I'm not sure if that has decreased since she's been re-released, albeit the version in stores now is slightly different.

I dunno. Maybe people just assume she's a fashion pony because she's similar in personality to G4 Rarity. Or they're going off her G3.5 descriptions which describe her as a "glamor girl" that other ponies go to for fashion advice.
I haven't seen most of the G3 movies so I can't say.

I love her! What an amazing cutie mark, too.
I wish the glasses weren't printed on but I kind of expected it as soon as I saw her at Toy Fair. I'm still stunned Twist and Silver Spoon have removable glasses.

I agree: I hope they give her her Gala dress! Plus, BABW has a habit of pairing the pony capes with already existing shoes, and they sell cowboy boots so it makes the most sense to me.

yeah, I've noticed this with most glittery G4s, even blind bags. There is not much glitter around the eyes and occasionally the symbol.

I follow a Disney merch blog on tumblr so I've been hearing bits and pieces about the lack of Frozen (particularly Elsa) merch. I had no idea it was this bad! I don't think I've seen toys go like this since the 90s (remember the Beanie Baby craze?)! Some people sending messages to that blog have been having trouble finding things like mugs and blankets, let alone the dolls.
I just looked up Disney Store Elsa dolls on eBay out of curiosity and wow! The auctions are going wild.
Are the Classic dolls meant to be limited edition at all?
Nope, they were just regular playline dolls with no edition number 
Ohh I see, I got them mixed up with the actual limited edition dolls haha. That's wild though, for playline dolls. I hope all this evens out in time. Good luck to all of you!

Although I did give it a good think over first, hehe.
I'm jealous! I've been following this artist for a while. Their dolls are amazing. I think the last impulse buy of mine was the LEGO Movie Cloud Cuckoo Palace set (I fell in love with that movie haha). I've been trying to cut back on my impulse buys.
