I happened to stop by Walmart today (the second closest store to my home, which I never go to because it is the second closest) and was shocked to find a ton of first wave dolls. Old stock must have been lurking in the storeroom because there was shelf filled with Apples and Briars with gradient eyebrows. Also, they had a handful of Legacy Day dolls. Now, why can't they find a box of older ponies lurking in the back room?

What are those G4s on the top left does the table sit on their heads.... enlighten me about these G4, please They haven't grown on me yet.
Do you have a group shot of the SHS sisters being united?- I almost felt embarrassed to send them.
I have to un-pack Twinkler & Starflash and take a group shot (they're tucked away in a box at the moment). Haha, it's from an episode where Apple Jack tries way too hard to make the Apple Family Reunion a success. She organizes an obstacle course where the ponies have to spin plates on their heads.

It's been my experience that the number on the receipt isn't actually a tracking number - it's a reference number for the transaction. I've tried using that number for tracking purposes and the past and it didn't work.

First Class comes with a tracking number if you pay for your postage online - if they paid at the Post Office, tracking isn't offered w/ First Class. That's been my experience...things could have changed (last time I didn't use PayPal to print postage was about six months ago).

Okay, so they're not exactly Christmas dolls, but the red and green (er, teal) dresses are perfect for the holidays. They are really dusty...and I don't feel like cleaning them  Knowing me, I'd end up messing them up, so I'll leave cleaning to the new owner. Bases are wooden and are scuffed up. They can, however, be easily fixed with a little touch-up paint. The beauty in the teal dress has an indentation to the face. The head is made of styrofoam, so it may be possible to fix. I do plan on listing them on eBay, but wanted to offer them here first. I do have more pictures, if you are interested. I am asking $40 for the pair, which will include shipping within the US. I will also accept trades/partial trades as I am trying to find items for my holiday swap partner Please PM me if interested (if you reply to the thread, I may not notice your response right away). After being outbid on an auction last night, I placed a "rebound" bid on something else...and ended up winning I also found a 2004 Tink doll when thrifting yesterday! She looks as if she was just removed from the box...except she's not wearing shoes. She did come with one shoe, but it's missing the pom pom. She also looked a bit weird with only one shoe. I'll figure something out

She is not prone to age marks and she is not one of those painful colours that can develop the issue. So, yes, she will be safe to sun fade so long as you get all those symbols covered up Good luck!

I will soon be in possession of Mommy S.C. who looks like she has some creative tattooing in permanent marker.
I've successfully sunfaded only once (Whizzer w/ ink that transferred from who-knows-what).
Is Mommy S.C. safe to expose to the sun, or will get all weird/sun burned?

Titan red is lovely! I have spent waaaaaay too long deciding on what type of hair to use. Should I go with acetate...or saran? If I go with acetate, I am thinking Titan Red or Spice Brown. If I go with saran, I am thinking Bitter Chocolate or Mahogany Brown...or both and mixing the strands together. I am so indecisive! What should I doooooooo? *flails* I am seeing original Tammy dolls selling for $30 - $75. I would guess that mine in her current state would be in the $20 range (I mean, she's great except for the hair.) Rehairing would only increase her value, right? I'm not looking to sell her, but then again...I know I am only the custodian for my dolls/toys and eventually I will part with her. Gah! I'm driving my self nuts, haha. When I rehair her, should I go with her original hair length or give her longer locks? Opinions needed! Wow - I found some Novi Stars outfits buried in the clearance at TRU... only paid $0.86 apiece on them ,wow! Now my Una can have some other clothes!
