Hi There! ^.^

I'm getting a Limited doll from Loongsoul, because I just NEED the body for a head I have sitting here for a while XD

But I have no use for the gorgeous limited Fantasy head (I have too many dolls already, and keeping the head would mean getting another body, what would mean me expending more than I can for something I have no room for...)

So, to avoid all this, I'm searching for someone interested in the limited head.

Also, I'll get another head from the store because of this month's event.

So I'll have TWO heads: one limited, one default (that actually is not sold separatelly) both seeking for a lovely home!

   > They're both 1/4 MSD heads (for dolls about 40~45cm high).
   > Amalthea will be a White Skin doll.
   > The Defaul Head can be any skin you want (from the ones offered by the store)
.

I can also give them a custom faceup if the buyer wants, no extra charge  ;)

Amalthea's head + horn is sold:
Amalthea Limited Fantasy Unicorn (click to see pics)

The event head is sold:
Default Event Head (Click to see the options)

I was expecting to get for the heads:

   > USD 100 for Amalthea's Limited head and her Unicorn horn + Shipping Buyer Found!
   > USD 80 for the default head of the event + Shipping >   Buyer Found in another forum.

But do write me if you have an offer for them!

The shipping you're paying is for the head from me to you, since the body is big and it's not fair split the shipping charges from the store.
Also, if the box get insurance fees (to get to me) I'll pay it myself for the same reason.

So, anyone interested? ^^

  ~Some Considerations:

*Please, PM me about the offers. I might take long to see someone's post here @@'

*I might buy an unknown/nirvana pony (even an expensive one) if I like it, so be free to PM me about any cutie you might want to offer.

*I don't mind if the flutters won't come with the original wings, I might get them without wings (I know most of those wings are demaged or gone ^^'').

*I won't get bait ponies.

*I'm not buying broke/stained ponies unless it's not that bad (considering how old those ponies are).

*I'm not interested in pony accessories/clothes (only if it's, for exemple, the lolipop my Sweetbelle came holding). So I'm not really willing to pay more for extra accessories.

*Since I'm from Brazil and shipping is more expensive I'd prefer if I could buy the ponies by lots
(but I can't afford large lots of ponies though T_T'').

*I NEED to know how much is the shipping to Brazil. Shipping for one pony alone and shipping for a lot of 5 ponies (for exemple). Please be kind and consider how expensive is the shipping to Brazil @@''

~Thank you very much for helping me in my search!

The Dollhouse / Re: GRRRRR Pullip Stand!
« on: March 03, 2012, 05:47:33 PM »
The Pullip's stands never bothered me, but since I've got quite a number of dolls around here, I got some barbie stands and also metal stands (for bigger dolls) to make it easy to deal with the dolls in the everyday life XD Maybe you could find a stand that works better for you.

The Dollhouse / Re: some ?s about shipping larger BJDs
« on: February 21, 2012, 06:50:42 PM »
for packing the box, you can always cut large boxes and stick tey togheter with tape around the box to "create" a new box XDDD

About the shipping service, normally the buyer pays the shipping fee, so it depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay/wait for the doll... I'm very used with the BJD market and normally the buyer can choose how it'll be... you can state the dolls price as " X USD + Shipping" , it's a common thing for BJD people.

About packing the doll:

>just be sure to ptotect the faceup (if the doll is painted).

> Beware with the hands. wrap them well, or even separatelly so the fingers won't break.

> Beware with pointy ears, they are fragile and may also break if nor protected well.

> If the doll is wearing black/dark clothes/wig, it woul be better to take it off it to prevent staining on the resin.

The Dollhouse / Re: Shipping a Pullip

To securelly pack pullips is pretty simple.

1- Make sure all the itens that will go with her are safe and wont get lost. You can put them into a plastic bag, for exemple.

2- Fill the gaps  :P By this, I mean... you could wrap the doll in bubble plastic or something before putting her into the box, this way she won't be shaking inside the box so her hair/clothes and features will reamain safe.

3- Put the doll and stock itens inside the box

And you said the box will go inside another box, what is great since the new owner will probably want to keep the original box flawless.

For extra packing you could wrap the doll's box as well before putting it inside the other box just to keep the original box safer.

PS: Beware with the materials you use to wrap the doll and box because things like newspaper may stain.

The Dollhouse / Re: LIV & BJD question
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:40:34 PM »

You could cut the Liv's head pen , some people do that to the Obitsu heads and then cut their eyes open so they can wear round eyes.

I think you can change the eyes, not sure how would it look inside the doll's head (how the eyes are attached and stuff) But I don't think it would be that difficult to remove them. Since the doll is wearing a wig it would cover the oppening mark.
Now I dont know if you'd glue the top of the head back or what else, you probably coud search for obitsu's eye oppening tutorial to see the options.
You can find tiny eyes on ebay, such as 8mm or 6mm.

The Dollhouse / Re: BJD custom question
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:31:20 PM »
Since it's a scar, you could try carving it in the resin. People do carve this kind of injures, so they look more realistic and don't "rub" the painting that much, since its carved in.

this is a default carved scar:
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4003/4447383939_6e085479e9.jpg but people also do this kind of carving custom.

You can also get this kind of effect using white glue on the doll and then facing up over it:

Just to mention... The white glue stuff can be removed XD

The Dollhouse / Re: I blame all of you :P (i have new questions XD)
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:21:47 PM »
Some dolls just desapear from PullipStyle and then they come back, or they never come back, or they come back listed as " Sold Out" XD so who knows... But you can ever look on ebay and see if you can find one (new) for sale... I think that's the best thing to do in that situation...

The Dollhouse / Re: Need some BJD advice
« on: February 18, 2012, 07:03:40 PM »
If you're not used to BJD and are having problems with her hook, what about changing it for a larger one, or for an "O" ring or anything that wouldn't get throught her neck hole? You will have to remove it each time you'd remove her head, but, well, how often would you remove it anyway?Special itens commonly come unpainted with the BJDs (you'd have to order the makeup/blushing/costum service, unless the painting is listed as part of the set). There painting tecnic for BJDs isn't the most simple and requires special materials (such as product calles MSC Flat to fix the painting), but you could also use nail polish to paint it. I paint my dolls (or parts) with nail polishing and I never had problems with it...or removing it. You can remove it using nail polish remover WITHOUT acetone. (just be sure there isn't acetone in it and you'd be fine).
