I will be putting them up for sale in a little bit. I need funds to make moar!!! Oh BTW I forgot to mention that I just find this whole thing to be an amazing idea. They really remind me of something that would have come out in the 90s when the dinosaur craze was at its height.
. I always loved dinosaurs and mlp, but i never liked any of the dinosaurs toys they released. Mlp are a perfect mix of cute/ real... where as dinosaurs were always super cutesy ... to the point where they didn't even look realistic. So that's why I make these. I'm doing something I really enjoy

Is there any way you could make the frill a separate piece?
Also what would you use for pegasai? The only one with wings I can think of is the pterodactyl but those are too birdlike. In a way the Stego's plates remind me more of wings. Maybe the Rex's or some brontos for earth ponies?

Thanks! I'm trying to keep the ponies with their sorta Dino equivalent. So earth ponies with the stego... eventually trike with unicorn.
I like how you used the fins for the hair color. What are you going to do for the second color on the triceratops?
For now the 3 horns will be different colors, but I might make some colored pebble scales to run along their backs to break up the one color bodies. I haven't sculpted it yet so I'll have to figure that out. Maybe some inlay on the frill

i especially like the eyes, and her cute lil dino toes!
The colors were just right for this stego! It was perfect! such a cute and unique idea! I love the sparkle!

Decided to do this girl up as Bow Tie! The colors just seemed perfect for her and I've been dying to do my favourites as Dino's! Awesome! I love you guys. You are all so supportive and kind! I really have to dig out my ponies for a side by side photo shoot lol. When I lost my stegos I'll make sure to list a custom listing!

Yes, I have a couple Rex's and raptors in my etsy shop right now.(globe under my name) Stegos will go up when I'm able to finish them. March break has all 3 kids home this week so we shall see if I have time to finish them haha! I'm also thinking of doing a customs listing so people can pick their colors. What do you think?

Thanks! I had fun sculpting this one! And the ability to make different colors is too much fun. The yellow and orange stegos need color suggestions for plates though. I haven't found anything I really love yet

Hey! I wanted to share my stegosaurus figurine! I cast the plates separately so I could do multi coloured figures. Super happy with how they came out too! They still need the eyes painted (in mlp style) and some tail spikes made. My cast for the spikes didn't work out so I'm thinking of making them out of polymer clay for this batch. I also purchased some glow in the dark stars and pigment I plan on using for my next batch of stegos! Thanks! The glitter has a tendency to sink to the bottom of the mold, so they end up with a lot just settling on their heads and backs, which luckily ends up looking good on the dinosaurs!
