Hi ponypeeps! It's been a hot minute since I've posted in here. I'm looking for a few ponies! And they're all G1'S. (*) = NEED.  . RC Streaky*I'm actually looking for one in pretty good condition, and maybe 2 or 3 more in baity condition. Baity meaning no missing limbs or horns. Bald and smudged symbols and eyes don't matter, (for the baits obviously, lol).  . Spanish Fizzy (variant w/o purple streak). Spanish Galaxy . NSS Buttons (long hair) Unless mentioned, no haircuts, good symbols/eyes and no cancer. Small symbol rubs are no big, especially if on NDS.

Sorry that happened to you!
If they go ahead and do the exchange, I usually don't say anything. Honestly as a collector, I get strange looks and eye rolls all the time. I recall an employee doing the same thing to me. It was at a vintage store that I go to every once in a while and occasionally receive the dreaded eye roll. This one day.. I just kind of got fed up with it and just asked them what their problem was. They were surprised at first, but immediately started apologizing and proceeded to tell me about how they had just had an extremely terrible day.
I'm definitely not saying EVERY retail worker is just having a bad day, (and I also know that if they are, they really should leave their personal problems at home and not bring them to work), but I suppose I just empathize?
I just like to keep in mind that everybody is going through their own personal struggles on a day to day basis. That's just me though! :-)
But if this store does this often, then I would definitely say something! :-)

I love all these stories! I so wish I had been born ten years earlier! Being born in 91, I missed getting to go to stores for G1s. But my earliest mlp memory from my childhood was when I was about 4, and my mom took me to a yard sale. I found a Princess Tiffany in a basket of toys and I was just in awe! I had never seen a pony before! I handed her to my mom and asked if I could take her home, and I just remember my father saying something along the lines of, "A pony?! No! That's for girls honey!". He thought because I was a boy, blah blah blah, I'm sure you know where I'm going with that. And I don't remember what my mother said or anything specifically, but I do remember her looking angry, pointing her finger in his face, and then smiling at me with the pony in her hands telling me that this was my new friend. I love my mother!
