I have neither.  My family wasn't really into birthday stuff, so they probably would never even have been considered.

Wow you have quite the childhood collection, every one of your ponies is gorgeous!

I haven't been posting all of them here, just the more "special" or harder-to-find ones--the ones that seem more brag-worthy.  :)  I have plenty of "ordinary" Ponies, too, such as Sparkler, Heart Throb, Bow Tie, Posey, etc.   ^.^

Those ponies are wonderful too though!

Oh, I like them quite well (Posey has always been one of my top favorites).  :good:  I just figured no one would be really excited to see another common Pony.   :silly:

I referred to this tutorial the other day to deal with my Snow'El I (my only G3) and her very frizzed hair.  :)  Worked wonderfully!!

Ohhhh. your pearlised baby glory is just sooo pretty  :)

Thanks.   ^.^  She's the only Glory I have, actually.  I'd like to get an adult Glory and maybe a regular Baby Glory at some point.  :)

Pony Corral / Crimped hair...

What should I do about Sweet Notes' factory-crimped hair?

Here is how she looked when I pulled her out of the storage box:

Here she is after wetting her hair with cool water:

It still looks quite frizzy.  Should I try conditioning it with cool water :what:
I'd like to save the crimping if possible, but it doesn't look very good right now...

Price Check Archives / Re: PC, please: Sandcastles and Shovels
« on: October 27, 2015, 11:31:51 AM »
Sandcastle and Shovels were just auctioned off on eBay today.  Shovels went for $10 something and Sandcastle $26.  I've seen them go as a set for $35 give or take a couple dollars but were flawed.  I'm in the process of purchasing a pair with their accessories for $50.  Hope this helps  :)

Hmm! Interesting to note Sandcastle is I guess more htf of the pair.? When I see them around Ebay, etc. (if ever), I always see Shovels for sale, but never Sandcastle...In fact, I thought I'd never seen another pair together since getting mine as a kid -- until I struck some major pony luck and scored amazingly well on a set that I gifted in a swap..hehe  **pony genie powers!**

Another proud pony moment -- I snatched up their rockers for less than a $1 (grand total of everything - practically for free!) in a Goodwill MLP lot and also recently got their necklaces as well.. I'm on the hunt for the aqua bear brush..

I have an extra white with lavender letters necklace if anyone needs it!  :)

I find this interesting, too--especially since I have Sandcastle but not Shovels.  You would think that since they were sold as a set, there would be equal numbers of each.

Pony Corral / Re: Re-glittered

Thanks, everyone!!  I really enjoyed working on them.  :)

Ooohh nice!

I'm contemplating whether or not I should get my Starshine re-glittered. I'm leaning towards no.. but..hmm.!

It's always the mind playing between "hardcore original owner - don't touch 'em!" and "must fix all the ponies."

 >_<

I figure that since I'm the original owner, anything like this just makes them more "mine."   ^.^

Oh, hehehe, I meant original owner as in 'hardcore original' - doesn't want to alter ponies and keep them as original as possible. But, yeah, that is a good way of looking at it too! ^.^

Ah.  Now I see what you meant.  :)  I can understand that.  There is a part of me, though, that gets sad if something isn't quite right, especially if it can be remedied.  Since parts of my Ponies' symbols were pretty much obliterated, I'm happy that I was able to renew them.  :)

Your girls look beautiful! X3 I'm jelly that you have Sunlight.

Is Sunlight hard to find...?

Pony Corral / Re: How rare are FF Ponies?

No FF Lemon Drop, sadly.  Only FF Peachy for playset ponies. :)

And good luck finding one without age spots, man!
^^     This!!!

Thanks for the info on Lemon Drop.  I won't be looking for a FF version of her, then.   :P

I actually have a FF Peachy.  I think she's in pretty good condition, too.  I'm not entirely certain, because she wasn't put in my box of Ponies and I haven't unearthed her yet.  I'll be sure to let you know when I do.  :)

I have had these Ponies for as long as I can remember.  Since their symbols were missing some shine, I gave them a bit of new sparkle.  :)

Sunlight.  Not sure why I have two, but I've always had them.  I played they were twins named Sunrise and Sunset.

I'm happy with how they turned out, even though the glitter I was able to get isn't as fine as the original was.  I have some others to do, as well, but I'll get to them another time.  :)

Blossom and Minty are my favorites in that set. ^.^
I have FF Blossom as well as a CF Minty with a forelock trim heh.. :satisfied:

My CF Blossom has a mane trim, so she has a long mohawk.  :satisfied:  I also have a plush Blossom (with yarn hair) that my mom made for me when I was little.
