Hmmmm I've decapitated a few ponies that refused to let the neck plugs go. That's ok super glue fixes all....hmm one pony using acetone to get glitter nail polish away from her eyes my hand slipped. I got her eyelashes. Oh well I just did it on the other side and now she's even...little freaky looking.

Aww no! good idea to make her even though, that way it's just a fashion choice for her ^_^

You guys who are doing this have sooo much will power and need cheering all the way :cheer:

The best I managed was an agreement with the Boyf that restricting ponies meant not buying anything from the internet G1, 2 or 3 before Ponycon. However brand new from the shops g4s were allowed.

Very little will power in this house. But you go guys!!! ^_^

Yeah, dripping HOT conditioner onto your leg while flat-ironing is not an experience I like repeating all that often...
This actually terrifies me!!! I'm a tad scared of getting anything heated near my little ladies and gent. I'm sure I'd be burning myself more than them.
Thanks though for the directions. I'm deff gonna try. The tail was in good condition, no rust or anything so it should be just a simple case of putting it back.

As for other accidents I can't remember any. But that is probably because I'm too scared of doing anything other than washing and brushing my ponies XD I just know I will screw up and have them come out worse than they were to begin with if I attempted something else :P

I'm in this camp too, I get scared just washing them! :scared:

Luckily I'm seeing the funny side to her tail popping right out. She was the last of the group to go so it didn't put me off.

« on: September 18, 2012, 03:01:37 PM »
I'm going, yay! Me and the boyf are heading up after work on the Friday night ready for the Saturday. First one for either of us and I am very excited.

Budget for Ponycon is a frequent subject in our house. What seems to be working in our favour is that we are building up a list of what we are looking for when we get there so those ponies are the priority and then hopefully (hopefully being the operative word here!) we won't go too far over what we take with us - which is still yet to be decided!

I really want to wear at least a wig and some ears, but I don't think Alex is quite so keen. Still got some convincing time though so maybe  ;)

I'm kinda scared though... I know everyone will be super friendly but I also know I'll still feel a bit "eeeek they know more than me"

Aww she's stunning. And knowing that shes handmade, not done by a factory, makes her so much more special. I really love that there are people out there so talented in the arts. To do this stuff amazes me.

Congratulations.

Toys-r-us UK are doing spend over £25 on MLP and get a single £4.99 pony free (as long as your £25 or over does not include a single) Ends 25th of September.

I managed to convince my local that this included Blind Bags. Yay.

Pony Corral / Pony spa disasters anyone?

Hi all,

So today some ponies went for a little body scrub and wash and dry. However one pony suffered a little accident....

Poor Cotton Candy. I guess I'm going to have to face my fear of removing their heads sooner than anticipated to get her back to normal!

Anyone else ever been a bit over zealous with their ponies??

Oo, I used to watch the series on British TV but once it stopped I left it at that. I really enjoyed it though and over the last couple of years have tried hinting to my boyfriend that I would like the manga (not no avail yet though  )

Honestly probably not.  It's bad enough I will probably customize them.  I'm not a huge collector anyway but some of them might as well be blank flanks they are very poorly constructed.  I'll probably wipe them and then customize.

It's not good at all really. But at least they will find a new lease of life with you :cheer:

Several of my blue bag ones have had voids in their symbols.

Ohh, that's not good. Do you think you'll try and replace them?

That is sad to hear :( I would also be very upset about it. You spend your hard earn money on something and you want it to at least look nice.

I know, it's such a shame - bless their little pony hearts.

Glow Rarity has a small black mark on her cheek but I pretend it's just a beauty mark.

Heehee that's a cute idea

Off Topic / Re: Games! Lots of types of games!
« on: September 15, 2012, 04:11:30 PM »
Board games, word games, video games,  card games, outdoor (lawn/playground) games in that order.

Problem is I only have a terrace so outdoor games are limited and my Swingball broke this summer

However I loooovveee board games. I go through phases with video games where I'll play every day for a week then not touch one for months.

Hallo,

It's a shame these things have to be put in place and that people can't all be respectful. Please can you tell me what the post limit will be until users are at 50?
