Yes it can be an animal that comes with a doll, but I always got the Zebra only so no clue of wich kind of doll/brand.

I've got only one "pony" from my childhood, and it's NOT an official My Little Pony.
Plus it's a Zebra.

It's Pony size,
It's brushable like Pony,
It's kind of similar of what a Pony mould could be,
It didn't look like a fakie toy but more like a brand of something' toy,
It's just marked "made in china" under belly (it helps a lot lol),
I come from Europe, so it may be a European exclusive for what I know.

To avoid pictures stolen into a commercial use, it's important to add watermark AND never let a big version (more than 600x800) on the net, so even if it's used, it will get bitmapped when printed .

Mimic is still expensive.
Maybe think of selling your ponies by lots or series, it can help.
