I found a pair of these at another Target store. They still had several pairs left. All of the pairs at my Target had the blue showing through on the ponies. Are they all like that?
Yeah, they're supposed to be like that. Pre-vintaged or whatever. Which is an understandable aesthetic for retro shirts or distressed jeans, I guess, but I don't know if "pre-worn" faux-vintage underwear should really be a thing...

Nightlight is such a strikingly beautiful pony. I'd be over the moon (no pun intended) to have either version.

As a fellow Breezie cart hoarder, I feel your pain. ![LOL ](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/laugh1.gif) The Breezie three-packs did indeed have quite a bit of variation! I'm trying to think of a good way to describe it... Basically, there are six molds for the flower carts, three molds exclusive to the red-orange-yellow set (let's call them 123), and three exclusive to the blue-indigo-violet set. But! Within each set, the carts can be of different color configurations. For the R-O-Y set, there are only two variations for each cart. So in any given three-pack, you can have R1 or R2, O2 or O3, and Y1 or Y3. But since only one of each mold is present in each pack, you get either R1-O2-Y3 or R2-O3-Y1 in any given set. There may be some extremely rare R3/O1/Y2 variation out there, but I've never seen it. For the B-I-V set, all three molds can be in all three colors, but still only one mold-type per pack, so you get six possible configurations for each set. That's not even getting in to the opaque carts in the non-US three-packs! ![LOL ](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/laugh1.gif) I wish I could help out with price-checks, but I don't really know what they're going for these days. ![Huh?](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/huh1.gif) They're hard to find un-mangled, but I don't get the impression that they're super popular, so... Maybe $2-3 for TraLaLa and ZipZee and $5-6 each for the others with accessories? Just an uneducated guess there, sorry. I might be interested in buying a few spare carts myself if you're up for shipping them!

The 2010 Fair pony (pink and green) was packaged like this, and so was the 2011 SDCC pony (gothy graffiti). ETA: Here's a couple of pictures from mylittlewiki, since everyone seems to have their own preferred fan names for these ponies. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

There might very well be more/better/different maps in the G3 Annuals, but I don't have access to those.

Do you perhaps mean this early concept art of Ponyville? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI wouldn't consider it very accurate -- I mean, "Sweatberry"? Come on. -- but you can still make out Celebration Castle, Cotton Candy Cafe, etc. as well as things that didn't make the cut, like a treehouse and amphitheater. Butterfly Island was just a twinkle in Hasbro's eye at this point.

I have her, but she's in pretty rough shape. Eye rubs, tail rust, faded colors... ![Sad :(](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/sad_001.gif) She still has that wonderful grandma-perfume smell though.

I spotted these at my Target a couple months ago. It's always nice to find MLP clothing that fits grown women. ![Kawaii ^.^](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/kawaii2.gif) I was disappointed that they didn't have matching camisoles like the Disney and Marvel themed underpants though.

My Locket has an extra long tail too. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) I don't have Quackers to compare, but my Locket's tail is noticeably longer than all the other TE ponies I own.

I have this pretty pony, and she smells great but not like candy apples at all. ![What? :what:](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/confusedpony.gif) It seems like Lemon Treats and Mint Dreams are generally the popular ones from this set, but Sugar Apple is my personal favorite.

This set is so beautiful, it's really hard to pick just two!
In the end I went with Seaflower, the prettiest by a nose, and Mainsail, who I got as a kid when the store was all out of Seaflowers. I almost went with Wave Runner since I adore seahorses, but nostalgia won out.

The clear iridescent tinsel is unfortunately a totally different thing from the colored metallic tinsel and doesn't deal well with heat or stretching at all. I think I've heard that some people have had a little success in taming the clear tinsel by smoothing the strands with a dryer sheet? There's not a lot you can do for it, sadly.
It's not necessarily a generation thing, since few G1s like the brides sport the iridescent tinsel, and some G3s like Fizzy Pop have the metallic kind. But in general, you're right, most of the G3 ponies' tinsel is the (presumably cheaper) clear kind that isn't helped by the ironing method.

You can get clear UV blocking film to put on the glass to help cut down on the harmful sun exposure. It's pretty cheap (depending on how many cases you have) and still lets you enjoy that open display look.
