I dont remember much of the hair from the G1s I opened as a child but I have a MIB Sugarberry and her hair is so lovely curled!
G2 Princess Twinkle Star had lovely curly bangs as well.(mine still have her original curl)
The G4s really dont have any styling...sure they put twirled locks om some of them but those cant measure up to the G1. They just dont try giving them a good hair cut at all anymore, its just all about pressing out as many as they can...

Twist the head so it faces the tail then pull it in the opposite direction. It makes it slightly easier and works on G4s too.

Ok since I cant order from Dolly hair because 2Checkout demands credit card info, which I dont got because I dont have credit cards and My little customs are out of the colors I need...I have to ask here for help.

On a cleaning program I saw once, they said that you could use eucalyptus oil to remove old glue....I wanna try it but I havent been able to since I dunno where to get it...Perhaps somepony else here have it and could try it out?

I would recomend that you use acrylic paint for the eyes instead as it seems its better for the pony, but yea its your choise.
To protect your paint you can use varnish or mod podge, it does the work.

Yes, and what happens if someone removes the note and then sells the pony again? You don't know where these ponies are going to end up in the future or in whose hands. I think it's simple politeness to mark a restore as such to help protect future buyers from people passing them off as original when they're not, because it /does/ affect their value.
Actually, the way I do rehairs are easy to separate. I never glue the hair! So if somepony who dont know if its a rehair and want to know, its just to pull the hair. Quite a fail safe test which dont injure the pony itself. I also dont glue the head back on if I can avoid it and I like to make the hair longer than the original hair. In any case I am not selling the few rehairs I have done, atleast not anytime soon.
