Pony Corral / Re: Pony purchase regrets?
« on: February 05, 2013, 11:27:21 PM »
I have an other one, but this is not for the sensitive!
When I told my friend that I started to collect MLP G1, she asked me what it was. So I told her "You know, the ones we played with as kids?" She said "Oh, I have a bunch of them, but my dog ate them all."

And she was right, all of the ponies was massacred, like beyond restoration.. And the thing is that she knows the dog eats EVERYTHING, she just don´t care about it..

Hmm, ok. So when I had just starting to collect I didn´t know about mylittlewiki and places like that. So I really only bought the ponies I thought were cute. And someone sold a minty baby Applejack (G1) with ALL of her original accessories on a auctionsite and I didn´t understand what it was, so I just sat there and watched as the auction ended at 12 USD.. And I didn´t make one bid.

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: PayPal usage question

Because I´m in Sweden, I always check the currency before I buy something and I noticed that I always end up paying like 1-2 USD more than I should. Could that be for the currency exchange or something?

I collect which generation/s?  G1
Am I a set completer? nope.
Am I a customiser? Planning to be one some day
Did I have ponies as a child? Oh yes!
Will I try to rescue a pony from the brink of the rubbish bin? Absolutely!
If I absolutely had to pick a single favourite pony (I’ve been feather tortured and subjected to fakie throwing), it’d be: My childhood baby Surprise
My current grail is: Minty Lullaby Nursery
If I won the lottery then my grail would change to: Mint Paradise Estate
One thing I don’t like about pony collecting is: That I do not have a pony room or the money to get one..
Can I bring myself to sell doubles? No problem, I just need one of each!
Original curls or perfect symbols? Perfect symbol
Chewed horns or hair-cuts? hair-cuts!
MOC/MIB that I cannot open or my ultimate grail (loose) in so-so condition? Ultimate grail!!
Hasbro should make or should’ve made: TE babies
The set or pony they got right on: Twinkled-eyed year 4-ponies
The set or pony they got plain wrong: so-softs
If I was a pony, who would I be? Fizzy
My favourite pony colour? I just discovered that it is blue, surprisingly enough, since I´m more of a pink kind of gal
My favourite pony pose? Baby Glory and Baby Ember
Ponies make me feel happy, nostalgic, curious, eager, I can go on forever...

I don´t know why, but I just can´t learn to like that pose..
It´s just like with mommy Sweet Celebration. I have the whole family except for her, because I hate that pose. So I just pretend that Up Up and Away is the mommy instead...

Customs / Re-rooting tool?!
« on: February 02, 2013, 03:09:25 PM »
Hi everyone!

I´m new in the customs section and I´m dreaming about making my own costums some day. Not even close yet, but you gotta start somewhere, right?
So I´m thinking about giving some of my ponies new life by giving them new hair, but I just can´t seem to find anyone who is selling good rerooting tools. The only thing I have found so far is some needles, but I want the real tools. The one where you just press the hair right in and then you glue it.
So can someone tell me where to turn to?
