The only way is to have ckat confirm based on glue testing. Since babydolls doesn't have glue in the mane I am not sure what ckat would need to do to verify authenticity.

My Gusty's head was glued when I got her, I popped it open to take pics inside so Kcat could test the glue on the neck, if she is a rehair two different types of glue would have been used. Im also hoping she will come and post pics.

Best Packing: About 10 years ago a seller from USA messaged me to say she had 8 early 80's MOC ponies left from her old toy shop and she would sell them to me for $9.95 each, sounded to good to be true as she had no pics but took a risk and came home one day to find a huge box, inside was airpockets everywhere and all ponies were wrapped in bubblewrap so they had not moved in freight. It was like 10 Christmas days at once having so many new MOC ponies. :)

Worst: Came home to find a large thin envelope with pony heads and hoofs sticking out the sides. I had bought a lot of 12 ponies with accessories from Ebay and the seller decided to chuck them all in a large thin envelope, needless to say most the accessories were gone inc two princess wands grrrr. :(

Heres mine, I think the weave looks very similar but unsure why mine has no glue!? Prob gonna have to track down Kcat to check mine...

I got mine from an umarked auction by a non collector too. I would like to know if mine is authentic? Mines looks like she has factory weave but she has no glue on her hair, does that mean anything?  :huh: Is there a way to tell if she is a rehair or not?

Have all the confirmed Reverse Gustys been tested by KCat? I have a reverse Gusty I bought from a lot on Ebay UK roughly 6 years ago, just wondering how the others have been confirmed? Thanks
