For Christmas last year I decided to put my G4 train around a little Christmas tree I have in my bedroom. Every Christmas my family invites people over, including a family with a 6 and 4 year old girls. When they came up to my room they started messing with my train and I think I kinda scared them. xD Not only that, they wanted to take some ponies off of shelves…haha….no. I'm so evil.

Ugh! I know, right? I haven't seen them anywhere else yet! Our local TRU is overstocked on the neon blind bags and they're not going anywhere fast enough. As much as I cant's stand Walmart, I'm getting desperate enough to check in there since I plan on being in the area of ours tomorrow. Ponies drive me to desperation...
Trust me your not the only one...my target has 3 full boxes of wave 8 and the Walmart by my house still has 1 box of wave 8. I haven't had the time to go down to my TRU with school and stuff but I might have to go see this weekend.

So is it confirmed that we won't be having a fan favorites set this year or is there still hope? I know there's that set by the EQG stuff where the mane 6 are now punk 6  , but I mean more like the sets from previous years.

These are so bizarre that I kind of like them, yet at the same time I feel like they'll be a huge marketing flop. MLP is a nostalgia brand . . . the punk look is going to have parents going "Uh, what?" (I know G1 had the Rockin' Beats, but they played into the "we are IMPOSSIBLY BRIGHT" concept, and otherwise looked like "normal" ponies. These look, uh, not normal, ha ha ha!)

I'm selling off my G4 collection because of issues like this one. I'm not going to throw my hard earned dollars on crap. However, to fix the problem i have had luck with thick conditioner and a flat iron. Worked pretty well, actually 
I've tried conditioner, but not a flat iron. Il definitely need to try that out.

Its only the newer G4's. I have a few early G4's that have great tails, and all of my older gen ponies have nice tails.
Its just Hasbro cutting yet more costs on the current line of ponies, they use a lower quality hair fiber for the tails. I'm pretty sure they use the same nylon as Bratz and Bratzillaz use (bad).
This, the awful quality control, and lack of new characters is making me think that the end of G4 is oncoming. Its what G3 looked like before it died.
Thats what I thought. Does anyone know how to fix this though? Is it the same stuff as the EQG Long hair Rainbow dash? We got one for my daughter and the hair is just this fuzzy, cotton ball, "S*&#" that you cant brush because it comes out in clumps. And there were a bunch of hair plugs that were completely missing, the holes were just empty. I was sooo disappointed.
I had planned on getting her one(delux) of each character, but if the rest of them have the same hair Im not going to waste the money.
I don't know since I only have 2 EQD dolls (the doll and pony sets which both have very nice hair). I will upload a picture of what I'm talking about.
