Sorry haven't posted in forever. Gonna have to dig out what I have for sale/trade. Haven't finished putting my pony room together in my new house so ponies are everywhere unorganized.

Awesome collection! You're lucky to have a great dad. Love the Fairy Tale bird on top of the stable. Mine line the roof of my baby pony nursery.

I have her. I adore her. One of my favorite poses for G3's next to donkey.

Pink accessories do much of it. Saddles, bridles, shoes. Bleeding red hair maybe. I have a white pony who was wearing a sparkly gold outfit for all of 20-some years and she has a discolored body due to it. Moondancer might have been wearing a bridle.

Have you not used strawberryreef.com for ID's? You should try it out if not.

Topic might be a little old, but I store my horses in the boxes if I can, twist-tied in so they don't move. Otherwise they warp and get rubbed and broken bits if you just pack them all together.

Is it bad that those bears remind me of a double coated dog, like a golden retriever, that's been shaved? The legs are always too short-haired to shave so they don't get that light color like the body does and it looks terrible.

I start out on the left side with a dog on the right. Sometimes I wake up and we've switched. Other times I lay face down right in the middle. I picked the whole bed is mine option.

That walmart protest was dumb even though I love fish as pets. All stores that sell fish have massive amounts of die-off daily. Pet stores sell exclusively pet products so they make it a point to clear up the dead ones in the morning and pretty quickly throughout the day. Walmart sells other stuff so they may not have the time to send somebody to keep up with dead fish all the time. Most pet fish come from a few suppliers in the country. Walmart and most chain pet stores in the midwest get fish from Apet Inc. Same fish for each place.
As for bettas, the little cups they are shipped in keep them safe from being crushed or bitten up by other fish. Better than being shipped in a bag. However they should be mindful to keep the water fresh and not stack them so that oxygen can't get to the bottom one. The coloring in their water is usually melafix or another medication to keep their fins from rotting and keep them looking healthy as possible, its not a pretty dye to sell the fish in like many people think.

So they're like food-shaped squinkies? Cute but no thanks. I love the tiny shopping baskets though. I'm sure these will hit the thrift stores just as fast as the squinkies so maybe Ill get one in a toy bag with a pony, then I would keep it.

My ferret, Hlao, tries to lick me dry after the shower. Mainly because sometimes when he's stinky I let him run around the shower with me and wash him off too. He can only reach my ankles and it tickles.

My dog Eleanor used to carry her blanket from her kennel around the house. I think she's either outgrown it recently or she doesn't want it in the summer. I'll be sad if she's outgrown the cute habit.

Be careful with a deshedder like Flitter said, they can irritate the skin and even cause rashes and infection if not used properly. Do not overdo it and do not push too hard. Deshedders like the furminator are really meant for shorter double coats. They do what is called carding the coat. People used to do it by using an old dull #40 clipper blade. This is the blade used for surgical prep on dogs so yes, if you used it too much you will shave that spot. I personally wouldn't use one on a border collie if I owned one, but I'm super picky about damaging double coats.
On my bloodhound mix I mostly use a shedding blade, slicker brush, and fine-toothed flea comb in that order. On my golden/hound/cocker mix who has a coat similar to a border collie I use an undercoat rake, flea comb and stripping knife (for legs and shoulders). I cannot live without a flea comb for any dog. The extra fine teeth pick up a lot of hair that a wider-toothed comb would miss. I use it to finish my dogs when I brush them out because there are always visible loose hairs still on the dog after just a brushing. I take both dogs outside weekly and brush like crazy, and then often just grab the flea comb and touch them up throughout the week.
