No we are 5 years old. you started in 2009. so 2010 was 1 year. 2011 was 2. 2012 was 3. 2013 was 4 and 2014 was 5!

I just went and checked this out. I really hope that the people who bid on it were aware that they are bidding on a print. Since it says right on the description that it is a print, I don't think they will be able to get their money back once the auction ends.

the item is supposedly from running press/perseus books.  However if you look on their site, it doesn't show up anywhere. I searched "My Little Pony", "Firefly and book", I tried searching by author and by subject. It is no where on the site. That makes me wonder if it was actually released by Running Press at all, or if it was released by a company pretending to be Running Press for the sake of seeming legit.

Although how so many companies wouldn't realize it's a different company is beyond me.

Still, it's very odd that it can't be found on the site for the company that produced it.

I don't think that picture was a prototype. I think that was the original concept and that the pony pictured there was a real g1 firefly and brush that they Photoshopped into the picture. They clearly made no attempt to actually make a faithful miniature firefly. And the picture that they gave to stores and websites for the preorder should have reflected the actual product from the very beginning.

Thank you. I think so too. A wonderful blend between me and my husband. And she's growing so fast and learning so fast.  It's an amazing thing to be a part of, even if it is exhausting and time consuming.

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, but it's been a rough post pregnancy.

So on June 5, at 4:28 am Melody Elisabeth was born. 7lbs, 6oz.  20 inches long.

I have experienced a long list of complications as a result of giving birth to her though, including stictches, hemorrhaging, a blood transfusion of two units of blood, anemia, and two infections so far- One bacterial, one yeast.

That being said, I did get a beautiful baby out of this whole thing and I am happy to say that I gave birth with no pain meds or anesthesia. 

Here are some pictures of my little girl, now almost 7 weeks old (I can't believe it!)

Just checking in. Having lots of painful contractions but they aren't close enough apart yet.  Still it's progress. And they are starting to get closer together. Baby Melody coming any day now. Love you all.

if I'm going to be doing something extra hard on my hands I do it wearing leather gloves. helps minimize the damage by the time I'm done. I bet if you combined that with the salt water bath it would be awesome.
