Here is some more info on the print if anyone is interested  :)

They were created by Jacob Borshard and printed by Nakatomi Studios (Tim Doyle)

So, I received a text late last night from a friend of mine who was at a party. Apparently the host of said party had this as a poster on his/her wall. My friend took a photo of it and then he texted me the photo.

Pretty sure people will have a greater respect for My Little Pony =)

I'd love to own him - maybe I'll have good luck tracking down a nice one at the fair? He's one of those ponies that I only want to buy in person because of all the flaws he's prone to.

I have a chief that had "issues." I found that sunfading him worked amazing!

If it's a weekend I can drive up and help and see my friend in Denton. But I would be driving from south of Houston. =)

Also, my friend Faith said that pretty much everywhere in Arlington is a pretty decent area.

Oh Cool! Thanks Surf Star! I'll keep that in mind!  When I was in Dallas last month, I checked out this apartment complex:

and LOVED it! I'm glad she thinks it's a safe place to stay b/c that was one of my biggest concerns =)

Hi there! I'm gauging interest in the possibility of being able to recruit one, possibly two, of you to help me move a few larger items.

Here's my story: I'm from Wisconsin and planning to move to Arlington, TX in October. I know that's a few months away but it makes more sense financially and personally to wait until October. The problem is that I am making this trip completely ALONE and I know NO ONE. While I don't mind that whatsoever-I'm thinking ahead and ran into the problem of "How do I move my bigger items into my apartment by myself?" I have my mattress set, a television, a television stand, cedar chest, an antique chest and-that MIGHT be it. I might have one more thing but it's early in the morning and my brain doesn't function so well and I feel like I'm forgetting one thing.

I have a friend in Dallas, but he just received an  important promotion and I'm not sure he'll be available. So I need a back up plan =)

Anyhow, I'd like to gauge interest in the possibility of this working b/c I would rather have pony-people help me and not some random mover guys. I was hoping that in return for helping me move some of my bigger stuff -I can probably handle everything else- that I would pay my help in ponies off their wishlist? I'm just wondering if this would be a good back up plan? Thanks for letting me know!

Off Topic / Frequent Fliers/Orbitz Users Advice Please!
« on: April 10, 2012, 03:20:50 PM »
I am flying from Milwaukee to Dallas, TX May 4th. I haven't flown in YEARS and even then, I was with my mom and she took care of everything. I am 27 now and will be doing this alone. I have NO clue about airport protocol and what not. I ordered my tickets off of Orbitz. But a friend of mine says they don't mail them to you. When you go to the airport you check in and they find your information to get a boarding pass or something? How the heck does the airport know I have ordered tickets if I don't physically have them? I'm really not sure how this works... Also, how early do I need to be at the airport before takeoff? What am I supposed to do after I literally walk into the airport? Where do I go? Can someone please help a clueless n00b? Thanks in advance =)

Thanks all you ponies!!!!! I wrapped seawinkle in my heating pad and turned it up to high. I let her sit for about 5-10 minutes until she was SUUUUPER SOFT. Getting her head off was relatively easy after that, and for the hard parts I used an X-acto knife. =) She was DIIIIIIIIISSSSGUUUUSTING... As bad as those pics posted from ringlets. I used an old toothbrush and hot soapy water and SCRUBSCRUBSCRUBSCRUBSCRUBSCRUBSCRUB...changed the water...SCRUBSCRUBSCRUBSCRUB...you get the idea. I FINALLY found my oxy cleaner and will be boiling her hopefully tomorrow =)

Pony Corral / How do I take apart/fix/clean out a seapony?
« on: March 29, 2012, 11:27:23 AM »
Hi y'all! I have obtained a very sad seawinkle... I would like to help her by taking her apart and cleaning her out. She is full of nasty growing unidentifiable stuff, and the weight in her has become loose. Can anyone offer their expertise in taking her apart, best way to clean her out, how to fix the rattly weight thing in her? Or would someone be so kind as to point me in the direction of a tutorial? Thanks ahead of time!!
