There's a Twilight going for $150 on Amazon right now, not sure how that compares to the rest of what's out there. DJ I've seen around $25 so far.

SDS you are amazing! I can't believe all you do for this community! Yes, depression sucks, I feel ya. You have my help as well if you want to delegate anything graphic design wise to run a derby.

I have a Billy bookcase too, and what I do on the inside is I've made little risers (like a choir would stand on) out of cardboard and covered them in white fabric. I can stack G1's three deep in there, and G4's like 5 or 6 deep. I've also taken some of my MOC ponies and affixed them to the back wall of the cabinet so I can see them while other ponies are standing in front of them.

Have her, love her. Love the diva pose. I'm like Ariana though, I wish I had her hat. I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to accessories. I don't need whole sets of ponies and I don't collect playsets, but if I have a pony in my herd, she'd better have her original comb, wand, ribbon, crown, hat, whatever it was she was wearing when she came out of the box! So yes, my POB is sadly hatless but waiting patiently.

Sugar drinks are so addictive! I have half natural fruit juice and half sparkling water once per day now, that's it. I switch to lower sugar alternatives and the first couple of times I'm like 'meh' but then I get used to it and overall other stuff starts tasting nicer as well.
Mintysocks that's over half a stone you've done so well! I have to average my weight over the month and generally expect to be a couple of pounds higher than my lowest weight on average.
Thank you for the encouragement! I stuck with it today and refused to eat badly even though I was out running errands and had every excuse to grab a burger. Artemesia, have you tried fruity herbal teas like peach or berry, sweetened with stevia? I love that! Crowning Glory I totally thought of Dory today after you said that, "just keep swimming" and it's seriously true.

Anypony in the Dancing Butterflies pose. DB is a gorgeous lady, but she looks like she's got an itch she can't scratch. And all the collector pose originals that constantly fall on their noses. Did nobody prototype and market test these?

Feeling discouraged today on two fronts... I'm supposed to be dog-sitting next week to help my fundraising, and I just found out this dog is barely housebroken and also not obedience trained, and whines all night long. I'm used to my own dog who obeys and stays quiet and won't even put her feet on rugs or furniture if I don't want her to. LOL Gonna be a looong week.
Second, I have felt my diet is on point and I've been avoiding sugar and meeting my goals, yet after a nice steady 8 lb. loss, I'm suddenly up 3.5 lb. I know it's probably just a fluctuation and I'm probably overall fine, but it's the kind of thing that is really discouraging to slide farther from my goal for what feels like no good reason. Trying really hard today to keep my mind in the game even though cheating and/or giving up altogether is a very real temptation.

Limited editions or otherwise scarce & popular characters will, as always be the exception, in regards to G4 and value. Such is true for pretty much every secondary market.
Agree, I think the first run of brushables secondary characters might become like that down the road since distribution was so uneven. I mean have you seen what a Honeybuzz goes for now? Always hard to say if the current run will go scarce in the future. Who knows whether the pearlies will go that way.

So how does one know if they are bootleg vs real when they are direct from china and there is no Hasbro packaging?
Others can chime in here too, because they might have had different experiences, but in my experience, the fakes have a lame attempt at the "My Little Pony" logo that is obviously not accurate but close, and like you said, have manufacturing details that look "off" like plastic edges not smoothed out, poor paint, etc. All the genuine Hasbro factory ones, even "rejects" (and by "bootleg" I just mean sold unofficially by a private party who got their hands on it some other way than retail), all have a year, the Hasbro name, and a correct logo on their hooves.

I purchased a set with all the pearlized ponies except the mane 6. Some still had the heart and some didn't. Their hair seemed better to me though because they didn't have "Box hair".
For realsies! Box hair is hard to fix! Well I've ordered a Coloratura from this seller so we'll see when she gets here if her quality is up to spec. Can't really beat the price right now.

Hey everypony, I just noticed there are quite a few pearlies up on eBay right now, coming directly from China, and they don't have that imprinted heart barcode symbol on their leg. (Personally, I think they look better without it.) They're definitely not fakies, and not different enough to be considered prototypes, but d'ya think this bit of differentness, this lack of techno-birthmark, will cause their value to be lower or higher than store bought? Would this matter to you as a collector whether your set had this mark or not? Curious to hear other opinions. She charmed me even though I'm a Yankee colonist, so I had to have her! She and my other UK ponies have formed a proper clique in my herd.
