They look absolutely spectacular! Seashell in particular is amazing as a so soft, and the colors you've chosen for her hair are perfect for her lighter color scheme.

It's so good to be back! There's no community like the pony community.

Sorry for the tone in my post there! I only knew what to look for because of a past project. :P

She's so cute! I love her weird little goat eyes and chin scruff.

Fantastic sculpting! All of the little roses are stunning, and the vines are beautifully fluid.

If anyone wants to give this a go, there are pigments that go from color to colorless on Amazon (that one's a sampler) and Etsy. A pretty quick search turned up a lot of possibilities -- just be sure to read the descriptions thoroughly to avoid the pigments that change from one color to another.

That t-rex logo is instantly recognizable -- great work! I really like this color scheme; there aren't a lot of dark green customs out there.

There's an Instructables article on DIY color-changing paint over here... it sounds like a simple enough process, and thermochromatic pigment tins are cheaper than the ready-to-use acrylics that a google search turned up. If anyone actually tries this, please be sure to share your results!

Welcome to the world of rehairing ponies!

My very favorite pair of scissors for cutting pony hair is a $4 pair that I picked up at Michael's several years back. I believe it's this one (Loops & Threads Micro Tip, if the link doesn't work). I'm sure there are more expensive scissors out there that work better, but I've had a lot of luck in the sewing section of various craft stores. Scissors that are meant for fabric are generally going to cut through nylon well too!

I don't have any good advice for hair-cutting techniques other than err on the side of too-long rather than too-short. Cutting more hair off if it's too short is way easier than rehairing after a botched trim!

She's so cute! That's a great pose for her, and those tiny snowflakes are absolutely perfect.

She looks so good now, and congrats to you for having the courage to take one of those apart!

What a cool custom! The tiny flag symbol is incredible and that glowing effect is amazing -- was it really achieved with an airbrush?

She's stunning! I really like the overall darkness with just the freckles and eyes popping out -- there's something very elegant about it. I also the way the poppies come up out of the leg gradient.
