Nah! There's much safer ways to invest after all. That take up less space.
I'll sometimes keep ponies MIB expecting that it might be worth more in the future. however - that comes more from the fact that owning something harder to find is personally exciting much like how finding a pony "in the wild" is more satisfying than ebay.... and not so much solid plans to sell anything.

I voted "on my head" - though its stretching the truth a little, i'm not currently wearing it! But I did tie a g4 to a large clip on hair bow Buried in my back yard. Years ago my niece took one of my teeny tiny babies out to play in the yard and somewhere dug a hole and buried her. We never found her.....she's out there somewhere!
RIP baby pony : (

My ex found some in the trash??? This is after we broke up n stuff and we were in different states. I think he might of been looking in peoples garbage cans?? I have no idea what the circumstances there were and probably don't wanna, but I ended up getting them through a mutual friend. A couple of g1s and fakies; and I think it was indicated that there were more left behind in the trash. ANYWayyy, its a pretty weird story, but that's how I got my dazzleglow variant with blue confetti.
Another unusual find was at the flea market. I mean, finding ponies there is pretty normal, but this was at a lot that didn't have any. But in a pile of baby toys I found a baby sea pony float - the pink crocodile one. Nice! My partner thought it was weird I swooped up what looked like a baby's teething toy at the time.

Well, I'd be pretty embarrassed about what they may have seen in what I believed was the privacy of my own bedroom for starters? Annd if be pretty daunted about trying to find living space and feed 200+ up small animals (on top of feeding 29 real farm animals!) But once I can work that out, it'd be pretty awesome! I'd hang out with them all the time and make them homes to live in.

Awwe yeh... Like you, there is a pony I've customized to be more "show accurate". While I like it better the way it is now, I similarly have been feeling recently like I messed up some of its uniqueness. I repainted the Celestia from this set some years back, because, you know... Pink celestia??? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginhttp://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/princesscelestiaFIM.htmlHere she is, I still think she looks pretty nice - but she did come from the very first g4 set, which as far as I'm aware is tough to come by now. Besides, now that Hasbro wised up and started making her the proper color, the pink thing is a bit quirky! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginPrincess trio by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr I still have a pink Celestia in the same mold, from the target exclusive pack with the first luna figure. She is a little different though, colorwise! I'm second guessing myself, but you know... she still looks nice, and I'll bet your cleaned up set of flower ponies will be nice too. They're still unique in their own way!

Something funny I saw at the fleamarket last weekend... visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr The previous owners of these CMCs decided to help them along in their journey it seems! Scootaloo got a scooter with a very rounded seat, and Apple Bloom got a scribbly ball that I'm going to guess is an apple bloom. Sadly, no sweetie bell! So I'll always have to wonder what her's might have looked like. Do you own any ponies that have been "customized" by children? : )

Flea market trips are always an adventure! It was not especially busy today, and some of the regular booths were absent, but there were some very interesting finds regardless! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginUntitled by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr 3 ponies, a "wuggle pet" keychain in back, handmade bat, and kitty surprise There were lots and lots of nice G3s out there today, but I'm limited on space, so I'm trrryyyying to curb my toy-buying habit at least a little bit. ![Tongue :P](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/tongue1.gif) I picked out this lovely Desert Blossom visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr She's so cute! And in perfect shape too. visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr Petal blossom, also in good shape after a quick bath - missing an eye gem though of course, as is inevitable for these guys. This sweet heart sister, Happy Hugs, might need some extra help though. Really frizzy, tail rust. visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr I dunno what this is, but I have a feeling it will be tough to clean off. visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr But I just can't leave G1s behind! ;n; I got all these ponies at the same table. (as well as the lil dog keychain) and I was reaaally tempted to buy a Puppy Surprise (the 2015-ish version) that they had there for a dollar since I have been wanting one for a while, but I fought the urge and left her behind. (She had no puppies with her!) and gosh, I'm really glad I did, because I came across this table near the end of the trip: visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr Vintage Kitty Surprise and Pony Surprise... the kitty I always wanted as a kid, ah omg! With babies and accesories and entirely spotless somehow - Its like they were like just-out-of-the-box and never played with. I have no idea how, actually. The booth usually just had grungy and dinged up toys. Regretfully I had to leave the pony behind that day, but I'm so pleased with kitty and babies. visitors can't see pics , please register or login@ by Terra Dinosaura, on Flickr Last thing I got was the handmade bat... Ill try to get some better pics of it later. There was a booth run by a young woman selling her hand-made stuffed animals, and I just have to support that sort of thing. :') Its unusual to see many handcrafted art sales like this at the flea market, and they were really adorable! The artist goes by FireSprout: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FireSprout/items

I haven't seen it done, but I bet it could work! I imagine it would look pretty cute! I really need to try out that bottle plastic technique though!
