I love Tammy! I've sold most of the ones that have come through my hands, but I still have a few of the clones. I'll have to see if I can dig up any pictures later on. *Edit for Pics* Here are some pictures I was able to dig up from photobucket. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis one is a hybrid Tammy/Tressy clone, with a working grow-hair mechanism. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI think this one may be one of the Calico Lass dolls, though I can't remember for sure. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd another. I have more, but they're packed away at the moment.

Is it just discoloration or does it look like a melt mark? I know some of the hard plastic parts of dolls from the 1970s and 1980s are known to melt when they come in contact with other plastics, sometimes even the joints they're attached to.

This is so cute! This is the first white Christmas we've had in a long time.

You can also use the country as an indicator of when the doll was produced. Japan was only used on pre 1972 dolls, and I think Mexico was only used for a short time as well. Korea and Taiwan were mainly mid 1970s through 1980s, and the China dolls started showing up towards the end of the 1980s. What era are your childhood dolls from? If you have any from 1995 or earlier, I have a book that lists all body markings along with closeups of faces.

'Salem's Lot is in my top three favorites of Stephen King books. It's shorter than a lot of his others, and it's really creepy! I also really enjoyed The Shining most of his short story collections. Thinner and The Running Man, with him writing as Richard Bachman, are also quite good.

The light pink dress with white trim is Mrs Heart's, and the blue one piece long bodysuit and striped socks go to Great Shape Barbie. This is a great find!

I LOVE that knock-off Bild Lilli/Barbie!
I used to have a few fakie dolls, but I think I got rid of all of them. Hope to see some more pics on this thread though, I love seeing the differences.
This is seriously my weak spot. I have lost count of the amount of Uneeda clones that are in this same style. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis one came from a Goodwill store a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure that is her original dress. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd here's another one! I think this is another Jaime doll. I have a large doll that's about 18" tall in this same style, but I can't see to find a pic of her.

I wasn't sure of the website, so I did a search to find the site. It was still twinpines.com. And I got a shipping confirmation notice this morning, so everything should be ok. I'll check back in when it arrives.

I hope that there are no issues, as I just ordered some from there a few days ago. This is my first time ordering, so I'm not really sure what the process is for the site. I got a confirmation e-mail, but I don't know if they send out a shipment confirmation, too.

I love knock-off dolls! I have a pretty large collection of ones from the 60s and 70s, but here are some of my favorites. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is a vintage Tutti doll clone, and I have yet to find any information about what company made her. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis one is a very cheaply made Bild Lilli or Fashion Queen Barbie knock-off. I have a loose doll that's in this style, too, but this is the only one I've ever come across that was still in the package. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd this one is a knock off of Tressy, who was a Barbie imitator herself! I really need to update my photobucket of all of my recent doll aquisitions. All of the pictures in there are from more than 2 years ago.

That's a Baby Beans doll. I have a few of them in different colors. They used the same head mold for the sunshine baby, but there was a whole separate 'Beans' line, which is where this is from.

SPACE CASES!! MY BABIES
I also LOVED Alex Mack so much, haha. I wanted to be her so bad
Does anyone remember The Tomorrow People? I didn't understand much about the plot at all, just that they were learning to teleport or something. The Journey of Allen Strange was good too! Nick used to have so many awesome sci-fi series... @_@
I'm glad someone else remembers this show!! I used to love watching it, though for the longest time the name elluded me. I remember they would do series arcs, with 6 or 7 episodes related to one main idea. Wasn't there a story about a weather machine that was going to destroy earth or something?

Does she have any markings? She lookes like either an MGA or Jakks Pacific doll.

Barbie is the main doll line that I collect, and yet for some reason, the Holiday Barbies as a whole never really appealed to me. I've had a few over the years, but none of them seem to stay very long. The exception is this one from 2009. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI know pink is overdone in the Barbie line, but I really love the look of this doll and her dress. Maybe the fact that she's not in traditional Christmas colors has given her a reprieve.
