Pony Corral / Re: Red vs Pink Cherries
« on: January 15, 2021, 04:36:18 PM »
Batch differences, different releases, fading... I'd be surprised if you found two with the exact same color, honestly.

I've had 6  for sale at one time and most were the same. Just one was pink.

Pony Corral / Red vs Pink Cherries
« on: January 14, 2021, 09:10:24 PM »
What's the reason for Cherries jubilee sometimes having pink cherries and sometimes having red cherries?

I think I saw someone else bring this up but it was on a Facebook group and it was so many months ago, there's no way to find it. And I just can't remember if it was because one was a So Soft that was deflocked, or what.

All are Hong Kong, no other differences.

Wanted! / Hair... Lots and lots of hair!!
« on: December 07, 2020, 08:19:44 PM »
So like the title says, I need hair. Lots and lots of hair!

Feel free to recommend companies that actually sell hair, but I would much rather buy privately if possible. Reason being I haven't found any companies willing to offer a discount on buying large amounts unless it's in the $500+ range (some refused to do deals no matter what amount) but I was looking to stay around $150 to $200

YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE $200 WORTH

I'm definitely willing to buy smaller lots of hair if the price is right. However because I have to add in the cost of shipping as a part of the total for the hair, I'm not looking to buy just one or two sets of hair unless you're trying to give them away for free and I just pay shipping haha

Example:
$2 for hair + $3 for shipping = the hair is actually $5

The more the better!
I'm looking for all colors (for customs + rehairs)

I found someone in my state and it would cost $3.49 for the hair and I wouldn't have to pay for shipping but would of course have to pay for the gas because I love about 40 minutes one way from them. That said, the total would have to be more worth it than paying $3.49 plus gas. Figured I should say that right away because I don't want to waste anyone's time!

Thank you

Pony Corral / Re: All of the G1 My Little Pony Hallmark ornaments

I think the bow tie was a concept or maybe even a custom because I only ever saw her in that one picture.

I'm about to get Applejack tomorrow but I want to get the others as well. I hate that moondancer is so much because sentimental wise she's my number one, so I would absolutely love having her as an ornament. I know I'll definitely be buying her eventually, but probably going to wait a couple more months because I'm trying to work on my inventory of lesser common ponies, so of course I'll be spending more than I usually do for the ponies I sell so I'm not going to be focusing on my own collection while I focus on my sales inventory for a little bit. But if I do find her for a good price I'm definitely going to get her!!

I thought they made one every year so I thought I was missing a few but good to know those are the only ones so I'm not too insanely behind  I mean I don't have any at all so I guess I am very behind but it's better to know there's only that many as opposed to a lot more

Pony Corral / UK vs US family
« on: December 07, 2020, 08:02:17 PM »
I know there are differences in the babies but are there any noticeable differences in the moms and dads? I'll be selling a mommy and daddy Apple Delight soon and want to make sure there isn't any differences I should be looking out for before selling them. I also sell vintage and new toys as a second job so I get new ponies in every week and I'm trying to focus on my inventory of the lesser common ponies, including the families, so I don't know if I should be paying special attention to the parents.

Thanks in advance!

Pony Corral / All of the G1 My Little Pony Hallmark ornaments
« on: December 05, 2020, 07:04:56 PM »
Does anyone have a complete list of each of the Hallmark ornaments for the G1 my little pony?

I know of...

Cotton Candy (2014)
Moondancer (2017)
Firefly (2018)
Seashell (2019)
Applejack (2020)

I've seen one picture of bow tie in the collector's pose position, but there really wasn't any information with it so I couldn't tell if it was real or not.

Did they do ponies for 2015 and 2016?
And if so, who were they?

PS: I want one of each ;)

Wanted! / Re: Cat's G1 Want List - Starglow (and others!)
« on: November 27, 2020, 10:45:04 AM »
Hello! I have:
Bubbles
Powder
Sparkle babies
Skydancer
Lemon Drop
Baby Quackers
Princess Primrose
Princess Tiffany
Big Brother Tex
Speedy
Sugarberry
Pina Colada

And will have Daddy Apple Delight, Heartthrob, and Fizzy soon. I have them but I've got to rehair them first. I should be buying hair in 2 weeks. I'll be getting it in person so no delivery time.

I collect G1 ponies but I also sell every generation on a large scale, so I've got 300+ ponies and get new ones in weekly.

Also I have a wish list, so I can list up to five of your most wanted ponies and once I have one of them I would contact you. As long as no one else has requested that particular pony first you would be the first to be contacted and if someone else is already requested that pony you would just be next in line in order of who requested it first. Each person is given 4 hours to respond before I contact the next person. But currently that's only available if you're in the United States because I require a phone number to text since I sell on six different sites and then I'm also in half a dozen groups, so it's too complicated to try and find each person in each place.

If interested in seeing anyone you can message me on Facebook at Kaiti Hennessy (I should be the only one that pops up but just in case my current photo I'm in a camo tank top). And let me know which you are interested in seeing and I typically have multiple of each Pony so if I do I will send you a video showing you each option of each Pony you're interested in and going over each side of the pony and also pointing out any flaws if they have some.

To save time if there are any flaws that are automatic no's for you, you can just let me know in the message right away. So if you only collect ponies in mint condition, or if you're okay with minor flaws but they can't have initials on the bottom of their hooves, etc.

Pony Corral / Is this a real G1 plush?
« on: November 02, 2020, 12:28:29 PM »
Still haven't figured out how to post pictures on here so if anyone wants to help me with that too, please do so! And yes, I have tried putting the URL between the [ img ] code. I also forgot the website someone recommended where I can upload pictures and get a URL for free since that's no longer an option with photobucket or tinypic.

Anyways...

click the link and it will take you to my Tumblr where I posted a picture and also some information

Pony Corral / Size of paradise estate for shipping
« on: October 24, 2020, 03:51:52 PM »
I am planning on having someone ship me Paradise estate but I need to know what would be the smallest box I could get it into. Length depth and height please. I'm not looking for the size fully set up but what size it could be broken down into for shipping.

Pony Corral / Re: Price check: baby lemon drop, baby bow tie & others

The shipping I already know the price of so that isn't a concern, but unfortunately whatever currency it was, in USD it's basically $10+ what I entered in.

I feel awful about it because the way the site works is when you make an offer, once it's accepted you're basically promising to buy it. It's almost like bidding and winning an auction in a way. Like eBay pretty much.

It has always shown me everything in USD, and for some reason this time it didn't. It tells me when I'm purchasing out of country and it even tells me that my money will be converted to whatever, but it doesn't actually show me what the numbers are for them.

For most of them I'm looking at double their worth and the others are just a few dollars short of being double their worth.

I still don't know if the price is good on the ones still in their package though, but they already combined everything into one shipment so I couldn't even just buy some and not the others at this point. Which I feel would still be really rude to do.

But the total for everything is basically around $80 more than what I thought I was agreeing to.

I feel so bad and I don't know what to do. Well, I know what I need to do - which is I need to apologize and cancel the order, because I'm not in a place where I can throw away money and that's basically what I would be doing since I would be paying well over their worth. and it's really not that so much as the fact that I'm $80 over what I thought I was agreeing to. A few dollars or even maybe $20 more wouldn't be a big deal, but an extra nearly $100 is a lot of money. Haha thinking about it in the sense of ponies, I could easily get a dozen ponies for that amount  :P

But are more serious note...
Blahhhh

I am not so good with pricing, but I have sold Baby Bow Tie and Baby Lemon Drop both many times for in the $15-20 price range.

On the currency aspect, I assume we're talking either Euros or GB£ (but maybe $CDN/$AUS?), so make sure you factor in shipping cost as well when you're working out the budget. That quote may also be in another currency.

On a wider note, I don't think it hurts to deal in other currencies than your own. It takes some of the pressure off international sellers when they aren't always having to convert to $USD (bearing in mind the exchange rate fluctuates and the price you agree can change from what you agreed for them too if they're accepting a foreign currency.) It may be worth having a frank discussion with them about this if you're unsure.

Our exchange rate has been horrible in the last few years thanks to Brexit uncertainty).

And they aren't having to convert anything. It's already done for them through the site so it doesn't matter what currency I'm entering in because it will swap it to whatever currency they selected that they are interested in.

Pony Corral / Price check: baby lemon drop, baby bow tie & others
« on: October 20, 2020, 04:43:10 PM »
Before I confirm a purchase with someone I need to verify prices. I did not realize that my offers were being written and sent in a foreign currency. Typically it shows me what I'm offering in USD (my currency) and then it converts it on their end, but for whatever reason it didn't do it this time. So all of my offers were quite a bit more than what I was thinking I was actually offering. I hate to back out but this was a glitch on the site because I have never had it show me another country's currency before. I feel that the prices are still pretty good but I just want to be 100% sure before I spend so much money and then find out I not only didn't get a good deal, but on top of that I spent more than I should have.

All ponies are in good and display worthy condition. No major flaws to note. Doesn't even look like there are any minor flaws to worry about either. A couple of them are still in their sealed bags.

G1 mermaid pony, pink
G1 baby Lemon Drop
G1 baby Bow Tie
G1 baby Blue Ribbon
G1 sweetheart sister Goldilocks
G1 mail order exclusive, Li'l Tot in sealed bag
G1 baby Cuddles in sealed bag

I am NOT looking for the lowest and highest they have sold. I need to know what is a fair price for them. I don't mind if you give me a set number or if you give me a price range.

Also please include TWO DIFFERENT PRICES if possible:
one price stating what they would be worth by themselves if bought individually, and also a second price of what would be a fair price if I were buying them altogether as a lot

Even if you are not sure on a price for all of them, even just one or some of them would be appreciated!

Thank you in advance

The flutter ponies where it says "no (repo) wings included", but the image shows them with wings, are you saying those wings won't be on the ponies?
