1st off, congrats - I love Rosedust!
Are her tabs broken off?
If you are displaying her I'd say she'd be safe, since it was the play wear that caused the tabs to break off inside the wing holder. As for packing, I'd just keep the wings in a little bubble packet till you were ready to put them back on her.

I hope I'm not treading on any toes - but I figured you guys with all the brilliant talent over here would be the ones to ask.
I realize that everyone has their own costs, but I'm just trying to get maybe a guess-timate on what it might cost to have a pair of G1 ponies rehaired, symbols painted, and *possibly* something minor sculpted.
If anyone could provide me with some kind of price range, that would be appreciated
(edit, after paying off some debt, I want to get these done. I just wanted a ballpark so I'd be able to set some $ aside)

I know it doesn't help with the TRU exclusives, but they will price match - so if you see a deal at say Walmart or Target in their flyers, you can get the better price (if you like shopping at TRU) http://www.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=11949070-------- I rarely shop there, as they are out of my way and usually much more than the box stores.

Ooh, are they in the walking pose! Nice! I love that pose but there aren't any ponies with it that appeal to me. Aw, but these don't have symbols...not much of a point, then. 
Just think of them having "blank flanks". They haven't figured out who they are yet

gabumon - I haven't seen the Bronies shirt at my local Walmarts.
edit - I did finally find the shirt Saturday at the Target off 5600w and 2800S - and they had all the sizes. I went with the men's small, the medium just looked a bit boxy to me. btw - the ad shows the graphic tees on sale for $8 this week, so I had them adjust the price today.

Have any of you spotted the G1 shirt at Target yet? I've checked the Jordan Landing store a few times and nothing yet.  ------- And slightly off-topic. There's a cute girls Princess Celestia outfit at Walmart for $10 (it's a shirt/pant set)

I think there are some good points here.
For me the biggest thing was the burnout factor - there was a point where there were too many released at one time and I gave up trying to hunt them all down and then it became nothing but the same thing over and over and over and over....
I still like the G3s and I'm keeping them. I don't know if they'll hit collectors values down the road - but I'm not worried about it. I plan on letting my daughter play with the big ol bins of loose ponies when she gets bigger.

I have bought a shirt from them. They're pretty good quality. Better than cafe press or zazzle. They're pretty good fits too. They maybe aren't quite as good quality as a store bought mass produced shirt, but quite good. Especially at the price.
2 things though, they're in Canada so postage is a bit higher than other online stores like it (like Tee Fury who released a My Little Epona shirt that I own too). And they are quite slow at fulfilling orders. One thing I really like about them though is you can get the art on other things like magnets and stuff. I don't always want the images on shirts, so it is great having other options.
That's good to know, I got a shirt for my DD from Cafe press and it was horrible material.  I didn't think the postage was that bad, but then I went with the cheap shipping. I wasn't 100% sure on the company so I used PP just to be on the safe side. ---- and I just got $5 from a survey company today - half price shirt for me
