Yeah, I know these sell well now. I still have one from childhood, one of my few dolls. I didn't want a Cabbage Patch Kid (always thought they were ugly), so I picked a My Child instead. Mine has blond pigtails and blue eyes, blue pj's, blue slippers with pink teddy bear faces, and a pink stuffed teddy.
Haha yeah, despite me owning 80 CPK's or something, their faces are kind of creepy.  My Child's are absolutely beautiful. One of the most pretty toys of the 80's. I washed her hair and combed out her knots, her hair is sooo much prettier and better now.  I think now she's ready to be put for sale. I mean, $200+ profit, why the heck not Some are rarer than others though. Like apparently some are on ebay right now for $3000 and they're selling for that much too. I think they're either brunettes with peach skin or red hair or something. *shrugs* I'll stick to my ugly CPK's visitors can't see pics , please register or login

She's worth that much, for real?! I have a brunette one at my parents' house that I never played with as a kid because she as a "nice doll"! Awesome find!!
Yeah! If you want you can probably get lots of money for it. Apparently because mine has a 'pretty face', original clothes and the hair is mid parted + ringlets, she is worth more. So it all depends. I hear Brunettes can go very high too. Not sure which ones, but some can hit about $600.
Congratulations on such a wonderful find and thank you for sharing information about these dolls! It's amazing to think that some of our childhood toys are so valuable now..it kinda makes me wish that I had hoarded all my plushies and toys!
I know how you feel! I'm kind of kicking myself (or my mum) for giving away the valuable childhood belongings I once had. And no I'm not literally kicking my mum! I love her! LOL

The shoes are apparently worth $40 minimum. The dress outfit is about $80 minimum and the doll naked is about $150 minimum. So yep, I am definitely stoked! I've already been offered $200 for her LOL

So I was thrift shopping today for toys like I normally do 'coz my inner child was screaming at me. I picked up this doll because I thought it was really beautiful and cute. It needs a hair wash and stuff, but it's really clean. I didn't know what it was so I researched. It's a My Child doll, with original clothing marked Mattel 1985 on the nice clean tag. So like, I joined a group on facebook, took pics of it and all that, got a price check. Apparently it's worth estimated $200+! Guess how much I bought it for?... $3. Yep. $3. LOL what I am in shock? Little Octopus is Octillery and dragon like deity is Dialga. :3 If I recall correctly, I got the Dialga a few years ago from one of those machines at the shopping center. I have that exact one

Yeah! I have an orange G3 that I was brushing the hair through and the hair kept falling out in huge clumps! It was awful. It probably does have something to do with their hair color. Unsure, but that's a pretty good point.

So I walked in the door after a nice date and was going over to weigh myself since I'm trying to lose weight, and under the table I find this box. It had girly things in it, but I couldn't see what they were until I opened the lid. I pretty much jumped 10 feet in the air in shock. I literally almost started crying. I have a rare 1st edition Machamp holo in mint condition if you're interested. I'd preferably want to trade, but could sell for £7, not including postage. (That's its going rate on eBay) x
I don't know if I have anything decent 'nuff to trade for that. D: Though it would be nice. My boyfriend and his sister's boyfriend have gotten me back into pokemon, and was flicking through one of their folders and found shadowless holo charizard and nearly flipped. I'm hopefully looking to buy cards in bulk. I don't mind if they're common, I'm just after a variety ^_^

Yep animals are very prone to anxiety and she was rehomed and moved around a bunch before I got her.
She isn't spraying- she is legit squatting and peeing. I've seen her do it. Most of what Jackson says is two things:
1. get cat fixed. check
2. Play with cat. check.
I would love to try a treat ball, but her diet is very strict because of her FLUTD  I love her but she is so frustrating! I have found that arena members are helpful about all kinds of things- why I posted here. It's a great community and I've seen so much support for everything!
Jackson Galaxy also said to put more cat litter boxes around the house. I recently watched an episode where the cat kept peeing everywhere, he told them to get more cat litter boxes and their problem was fixed. Perhaps try that method?
