She's cute on her own, but the Halloween ponies after the initial 2006 set are very disappointing in their lack of Halloweeny-ness. It's surprising how she's the only ladybug-themed G3 pony considering ladybugs are featured a lot in that generation, with the Ladybug Jamboree short and the ladybugs in the live show. `

I'd make G3 Midnight Dream a nice deep blue (think Princess Luna) instead of the bright reds and pinks. It'd suit her name and theme so much better!
Also I'd give the G5 boys real hair, give Hitch and Sunny their markings, and paint all the G5 Ponies' hooves! I'd also put the pegasi from that gift set in the 6 in brushable mold.

My first G3 was a Rainbow Dash, which my uncle gave to me. The first G3 I bought with my own money was Pretty Pop, who I saved up my allowance for.

She's one of my favorite G1s, and my all-time favorite twice-as-fancy. She's just so dreamy! I do wish I would be able to afford her though.

Somebody posted a video of the "Gonna Be My Day" song the alicorn Sunny toy sings. I like this song better than the other two revealed so far, but it's hard to make a judgement due to the toy's sound quality and the fact that it's only a short clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38v6FYl6R3EI wonder when the actual soundtrack will come out? Will it be before the movie? I have so many good memories of falls during 2014-2017 getting super hyped whenever the soundtrack to the latest MLP/EQG movie dropped and listening to it exclusively for like a week.

She's very pretty. Purple with white hair is a very nice, but sadly underused, color combo.

Pass. I always found these G3 so soft things kinda freaky, even as a kid. At least this one doesn't talk.

Are there any ponies you saw pictures of online and didn't catch your fancy for whatever reason, but now that you've added them to your collection, you absolutely love?
I remember not really being a fan of Speedy when I first saw her. I didn't like her color scheme, or her symbol, and generally forgot she existed. However, I recently added her to my herd after spotting her at a vintage toy store and I have to say I absolutely love her! She's so vibrant and her hair color combo is so unique and pretty! I'm very happy I was able to get a second look at her.
Same goes for BnG Bouquet. I didn't buy her, because she was $30 and covered in cancer spots, but I was instantly struck by her gorgeous, long bright hair against her slightly off-white body. Before then, I was never particularly struck by any of the first set of Brush n Grows, but I definitely really want a Bouquet if I find one in better condition!

I just love that little crab and seagulls!
What really intriques me this time around are the signs advertising the "Canter Logic". There's the digital-looking font and the outline of Phyllis's (still worst pony name) mane and glasses. Given her stock cutie mark, maybe she's the owner of a big tech company? And possibly a "evil big businesswoman" type antagonist given the way her signage is all over the town? Just a thought.
Also the "Horns" movie poster. I think this might suggest that earth ponies and pegasi think unicorns are dangerous because of their pointy horns. That image of Izzy with the tennis ball on her horn, as well as the lyric "warhead on your forehead" from the song leaked in the Izzy plushie seem to support this idea.

I love your style! The manes especially are incredible, as are Star Wishes' wings!

I recently went to a vintage toy store and picked up a bunch of G1 and G3 ponies. I was able to clean and style most of them, and they turned out great! However, I am having trouble with one of them, Cupcake, who is the first so soft pony in my collection. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login She's in very nice condition for a white so soft, her flocking is still full and soft and only worn on the tip of one ear. She's a little dirty around the hooves, and she has a stain around on the back of her neck that looks easily removable. visitors can't see pics , please register or login I'd like to fix her up and get her looking nice and clean, but I'm struggling with how to best clean her in a way that won't damage her because she's in such good condition and don't want to accidentally ruin her on my first try cleaning a so soft. The trouble is, many people on the internet seem to have differing methods on how to best clean so softs. I've heard some people say to use conditioner to clean them, and others use dish soap. I've heard some people say to scrub them with a toothbrush, but others say to use your hands because the toothbrush would damage their flocking. I've heard that cold water is the best to clean them with because it won't loosen the glue, but I also heard that some people use warm water as well. Overall, I'm seeing a lot of contradicting opinions on how to clean so soft ponies, and want to make sure my first attempt goes smoothly. Any advice would be much appreciated!

The US birthflowers are some of my least favorite G1s. They're very dull to me with their exact same colors and pose, as well as their similar symbols. The alternate version is very pretty, even if she isn't in poppy colors at all.

I love carousels (see avatar), so the MGR ponies are one of my favorite G1 sets. I like her, but she's far from my favorite MGR pony.

I really like her! A lot of the G3 birthstones don't seem to quite fit their months, but her ocean blue with seashell symbol suits the month of August well. If there's one thing I like about G3, it's all the summer/beach themed ponies they made! She's also in my all time favorite G3 pose!

My favorite of the year 5 so softs. I love her candle symbol, don't love her shared name. She's definitely on my wishlist!
