Looking at the drawing in your sig I'd say Golden Delicious is the right choice. ;)
Of course, after clicking on the link to your DA I can understand why others are suggesting Golden Goddess.

I don't know who to vote for. :( I've been going back and forth between Nightlight and Gusty.

Customs / Re: How do you choose how to style the hair?!
« on: July 14, 2013, 09:24:34 PM »
I actually prefer long straight styles unless the theme of the custom really calls for something different. A fancy style can add a special something to a custom but sometimes it can be distracting - like doing your own hair in an intricate up do and dressing in a t-shirt and jeans. It's up to you as the artist to decide what type of style will enhance your overall design.

On a side note: I have one custom in my collection with styled hair and the temptation to take out her hair pins and brush it is sometimes overwhelming. :P

OK, it's super late and I can't really get to my desk right now to check for brand names but for some reason I have a photo of my brushes. I buy my brushes at Michaels so maybe some of you will recognize the brand based on the the colors or the brushes?

I don't really have an issue with curling but over time I eventually lose the nice, sharp tip. My brushes usually last quite a while and I find the liners last longer than spotters because it's easier to keep paint out of the ferrule.

This may seem obvious but are any of you letting you brushes sit in a cup of water for any amount of time? Setting a fine tip brush in water for even a few seconds will cause your brush to curl or lose shape. Rinse immediately and lay your brush on a flat surface.

As Kala mentioned, this particular custom was done by Kanthaka (she goes by DarlingV on Devianart). ;)
