I love all of them, but I'm gonna have to say buttons probably. Her shade of green is kinda giving me Shrek vibes, and would it have killed Hasbro to think of a different name for her??

I'm surprised to see so many people voting for merriweather, she's my absolute favourite out of the set! (With nightglider, yum yum and munchy all in joint second)

ROUND TWO

11. Diamond Dreams or Lemon Treats? Lemon treats (I don't really like yellow in general, but I really want all the candy cane ponies)

12. pure white Taffy or pure white Quackers? Quackers! Her symbol is adorable and I love her mane colours

20. Cuteasaurus or ChaCha (Llama)?  Cuteasaurus!

Round Three
22. Sunburst or Tornado? Sunburst

23. Tux & Tails or Satin & Lace (any version)? Satin n lace

24. Rattles and Tattles (newborn) or Sandcastle and Shovels? Sandcastle and shovels, I think?

26. Waterfall with Cascade or Kitchen Playset? Waterfall with cascade (I'm not sure if I even know what the kitchen playset looks like. Was that the one that came with a teeny tiny baby pony?)

27. Peppermint Crunch or Raspberry Jam? Raspberry jam!

1. an agonizingly hard choice, since I want both of them in my herd so bad, but I think night glider narrowly wins
2. Mimic
6. Baby Gusty
7. Rapunzel
8. Fizzy (I already have NSS wind whistler)
9. Blueberry Baskets (one of my top grail ponies! 😍 )
10. Red Roses (love the glow n shows, but red roses is also a grail pony of mine)

I've currently really got a thing for brush n grow ponies, especially curly locks. If I ever get her, I think I'll style her hair into ringlets, so that she really does have curly locks! My only brush n grow pony at the moment is princess skylark, so I'm pretty fond of her by default.

well...the other day i was soaking cuddles (magic message pony) in a hot oxyclean bath, both to get all the ingrained dirt off her body, and to remove her head so I could sort out her tail rust. Except I should have realized that putting her heat sensitive symbols in hot water wasn't a good idea. I took out the water, and was pleased to find her body all brightened up and  clean...and horrified to find most of her symbols had come off  >_< d'oh!!

Luckily, she was a restoration project I got cheap, and I think I can repaint her symbols, only I've never done it before.

I agree when it comes to overpricing, most of the time it's out of ignorance rather than trying to scam anyone. Like others have said, the majority of sellers will come down when they see their items aren't shifting, without needing to be told.

However, deliberate overpricing can be a problem on eBay. And is it just me, or are there sellers who put their shipping charge up way higher than it should be?

basically, a couple months back I saw a sugar sweet in need of restoration for £15, plus £5 second class postage (for the record, typical 2nd class postage for one pony shipping within the UK is usually £2.90 or less) so either they'd made a weight miscalculation, or that was their way of getting a couple extra. Not wanting to argue with them over shipping, I sent an offer of £10, but I got a reply that essentially said they wouldn't accept any offers below asking price because they were trying to make a profit?? Uhhhh, then why even have the offers option available in the first place??
Yeeeeah, didn't buy that sugar sweet in the end. As far as I know, that sale is still ongoing, and at the same price/postage, so I think that might be one person who isn't willing to learn.

So yeah, all in all, you can trust people on the arena, but be careful on eBay.

Is there a Retrodolls UK match for dollyhairs "forget me not"? (Chief's hair colour) thanks!

Pony Corral / Hair colour match for chief?
« on: March 19, 2020, 01:54:29 PM »
I made a post semi related to this a few weeks ago that wasn't worded very well, so the short version is-

Chief needs a new tail, can't order from mylittlecustoms, won't order from dollyhair, so I need to know what colour to order from either Retrodolls UK, or the doll planet.

I know that his dollyhair colour is called forget me not, but I can't tell which blue matches on Retrodolls/doll planet, and I can't find the answer anywhere else.

Any advice at all would help. Thanks!  :lovey:

Top 5 in no particular order are blueberry baskets, nightglider, wind whistler, sparkler, and princess Serena!

Very fond of her, mainly because she made her way into mine and my sister's childhood G3 collection. We can't be the only children in the history of ponies who decided she was disabled/paralysed. We even made her a sort of wheelchair out of Lego and a square of cloth, so she could join in on all the other ponies adventures.

The bubbles I have in my collection now isn't the same one from my childhood, but I still think she and seashell are adorable!

Pony Corral / Re: Do you take apart your ponies to wash them?
« on: March 16, 2020, 11:52:08 AM »
I only really do it when it's either obvious that there's some funky stuff going on inside that needs to be addressed, or when I'm planning to remane and/or retail them.

Honestly, sometimes getting their heads off then back on can be such a pain, it's not a part of the process I enjoy doing. Maybe the toy story films just influenced me at a young age, but I don't think the ponies really enjoy it either

I really wish they'd released the fancy swirl/celestial ponies, they look so pretty! Also dance n prance ponies in different poses.
