Peru Glory is lovely, she should be white, but the white Peru ponies have a tendency to turn yellow/cream/brown over time.

Hi ponies,

I wanted to share with you my latest collaboration with Miss Asuka. Together, we bring you; Journey to Japan: Tokyo, Kohie, Hinari and Ramen.

Each one of the Japanese themed custom ponies was designed by Miss Asuka and then brought to life by myself, pinkkittywinks/Shadow on the Moon.

The ponies were made from HQG1C ponies and have been hand dyed, painted and airbrushed using high quality acrylic paints and sealed with polyurethane vanish. They have been rehaired with nylon hair and merino wool, which has been softly styled. Each pony comes in her own box and a wears a hand made bandana made with craft fabric bought in Japan. On the back of each box is the art work created by Miss Asuka.

Tokyo: Tokyo has been made from a HQG1C pony. I used an airbrush to create a sunny, summer sky with fluffy clouds, Mount Fuji and Toyko's skyline, featuring a few iconic buildings on her display side. Her mane and tail have been rehaired with nylon in the colours pink, yellow, blue and lilac. Her eyes have been painted on by hand and she has red, glittery eyeliner. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan.

Kohie: Kohie made from a hand dyed HQG1C pony. I have airbrushed her using white acrylic paint, which has a pearly finish to it. The koi carp symbols have been painted on her body using acrylic paint. She has yellow eyes and bright, white eyeliner. Her mane and tail has been rehaired with white, black, orange and blonde nylon hair. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan.

Hinari: Hinari is made from a HQG1C pony. Her body has been given an gradient effect using an airbrush. Her distinctive eyes have been painted on using acrylic paint. Her mane is orange nylon and she wears a hand made organza ribbon barrette. Her fluffy fox tail has been made from a blend of cream and orange merino wool. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan.

Ramen: Ramen made from a hand dyed HQG1C pony. Her symbols have been painted on using acrylic paints. Her cheeks have been softly blushed using an airbrush. I have fully rehaired her with nylon hair in the shades of black, silver, white and purple and has been carefully styled and she wears hand made "chop stick" style hair accessories and a red ribbon in her tail. Her eyes have been painted in the "Gyaru" make up style. She wears a bandana made from craft fabric bought in Japan. She has some small air bubbles in her vinyl.
