Thank you so much. I haven sold old eBay in forever. The fees sound crazy. Gals to know shipping is actually decent still.

Y'all it's been a while since I was on eBay buying and selling ponies, but what is up with 10 + dollar shipping in the US? Is it really that expensive now?

Pony Corral / Re: Anyone ever had sellers remorse?
« on: May 14, 2014, 09:23:13 AM »
Lol, like so many here I dread letting go of ponies, especially for money. I have traded a few for new G1 ponies to my herd, and that's about all I can manage. I have soooo many first wave flutter ponies it's painful, but I think the pain would be worse if I - gasp! - sold them! My family is under STRICT orders never to sell my collection, even if I die! So someday I expect there will be a "Sarah Memorial Pony Museum" in existence here in Minnesota. Disicount admission for Arena members!

My friend and I were just talking about how lovely it would be to have a museum dedicated to My Little Ponies. :)

I told my husband that I wanted a little so rage building with electricity on our property so that I could create my own pony museum!

I have some other regrets too like some European ponies that I sold thinking I would not want to collect them. Wrong
The one that is really on my nerves is from like ten years ago when I diets started. I had a mint so soft best wishes. I didn't know anything about ponies and I thought u wouldn't collect those so soft ponies. Now I have a Nauru looking one and I am on the hunt for my minty one to replace that baity one. There is just something about having it in your possession and then not that can drive you crazy!

You might consider the seller. Look at the reviews. Does it appear to be a collector? I would probably not buy her u less I knew the seller was trustworthy. As far as specific like what you ask, I don't know. I've ibly seen her once in real life. :)

Pony Corral / Anyone ever had sellers remorse?
« on: May 13, 2014, 03:15:22 PM »
I have a lot. But most recently, I gave away a so soft talking newborn and as I was unpacking my collection I found pinkie pie. It made me regret giving seat the rainbow dash. So, I just bought a used one from eBay. I guess I should learn my lesson--never sell or give away ponies!

Pony Corral / Re: Would you open G3s for display?
« on: May 09, 2014, 04:20:34 PM »
Well, I have a lot of. G3 ponies so I would not be able to have anything that looks nice without deboxing. There isn't room. I have two big shelves for G3 and the rest I the room is G1. I have a lot of holiday ponies in boxes. I guess I need to see if any are duplicates before I open them. I don't think I will be worried about value as I agree that there were many collecting as they were released. Honestly, they are so much prettier out of the box with styled hair. So my decision is to open what is not a duplicate and store duplicates in the barn! Although I will keep my babies in the box, disney ponies, breezies, and anything else that might not take up too much space or is more valuable.

Pony Corral / Re: Q: Blind Bag Cards?
« on: May 09, 2014, 04:10:20 PM »
You can still pick up Granny as a blind bag with her card though as she is in a couple of waves now - its just that you cant get her in the finish she was in with the Mini Figs multi pack if you want only figures with cards as 3377345 says.

I found the neon one! Thx for the information. Tht really stinks though as I love the cards and don't want to buy the ponies without them.

Pony Corral / Would you open G3s for display?

I had a whole room for my collection before children. Now I have a closet. I have had ponies in storage for three years. Should I open my G3 ponies so I can display them? Storage is not climate controlled. It is in a barn! What would you do. BTW all my favorites are mostly opened anyway.

Pony Corral / Q: Blind Bag Cards?
« on: May 08, 2014, 04:44:00 PM »
I just started collecting blind bag figures. I have a notebook for all of my cards. I want to know if the mini figures that you buy that are not in the blind bags come with cards??? I am kind of thinking that I only want blind bag ponies if the others don't have cards. For example, I love the Granny Smith figure, but I don't want to buy the apple family if I don't get cards to go with them. Thanks!
