This is a really cute idea.  However I think it's going to be a LOT more cost effective for you if you have the other person buy the socks (so you pay them to buy the socks and for their shipping).  Unless you're wanting a really specific sock I think you're adding a lot of unneeded cost by shipping the socks to the person overseas and then paying for them to ship it back.

Alright it looks like I have a Baby Snippy, a newborn Dibbles (pegasus so I'm not sure if she'll work for you), and a blue newborn fakie (The dollar store ones that look just like g1 other then the ugly eye paint job).

If any will work for you let me know!

Do you have a preference between a newborn or a regular baby?  I'll have to glance through my box in the morning but I'm sure I've got at least one.

Sorry for the delay!  After you posted I wanted to do a little more research on the price and I wanted to double check for damage and get a good picture of it.

So here is the picture.  It could probably use a cleaning but it looks nice and undamaged to me.

When I was originally looking things up I found a set with 7 charms for $125 or charms being sold 1 by 1 for $35.  Which seemed pretty obscene (and is probably why they are still listed).  Hunting and digging with different names dug up some more info in that it's one of those items that seems to fluctate quite a bit ranging from 40-180 for a full set.  That information was from a year or two ago.

So I think the 5ish a charm you found is probably a good jumping point.  So I'm hoping for mmm.. probably $50 for it?

Yeah you lucked out!  I bought the only 2 they had at my Target a week or so ago for $3. (Unfortunately there were empty bags so someone obviously was there stealing them earlier. T_T)

If you don't end up getting a Twilight I'd be happy to trade mine for one of your Applejacks.

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Sold - thanks for the help and interest guys <3

I'm a little tight on my bills this month so I was scrounging for a few things to sell on Ebay and while looking through my jewelry box I found my Littlest Pet Shop charm bracelets from years and years ago.  Given that I haven't worn it in forever I thought I'd see what it was worth and was blown away.

Given it's value and seeming rarity I figured I'd post here first and see if anyone was looking for one here before I went to Ebay.

It's the 1994 mail order bracelet with 9 of the 10 charms (panda, elephant, kitten, turtle, pony, hamster, fish, puppy, bird). I don't have any of the certificates or anything, just the bracelet and charms.  It looks like it's in great condition but I can take pictures and take a better look at it tomorrow.

If anyone is interested let me know, otherwise I'll just go try Ebay in a few days.

I've heard you can put clear nail polish on the inside of rings that turn your fingers green to keep them from doing so.  I wouldn't be surprised if coating the chain with clear nail polish would help keep you from itching (if you want a possible fix-it) until you can get a new chain. :)

Wow Fluttershy looks really cute!  (I also love Rainbow Dash's dress, though not a big fan of the rest of her).  Are they actually jointed at the knees and elbows as well!?

I'll have to wait until I see them in person but I might actually buy my first EQ doll.

Price Check Archives / Re: PC Enterplay CCG cards??
« on: September 28, 2014, 06:24:41 AM »
In general higher rarity cards will be worth a little more than more common cards (as will foil cards often be worth more then their non foil counterparts), but that is not always the case.  So far the game works in a way where most cards are worth next to nothing but there are a handful of cards worth an okay amount and a handful that are worth a fortune.  Basically the value is based on how rare it is and how good the card is in play.

It's time consuming and tedious but so far the best way I've been able to figure out worth is checking each card individually through either ebay or through card shop websites (I tend to use Dizzy Dugout or Toywiz for quick reference though I pretty much always revert/double check back at ebay when it comes to the more expensive ones).

Every season is a completely different story so you don't need to watch them in order or anything.  You can start with season 4 and go back and watch the earlier ones without spoiling anything!

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Post office lost my package?
« on: August 17, 2014, 07:53:39 AM »
Unfortunately I don't have any post office receipts because I printed the label at home via Paypal/Ebay.  So I have a reciept for printing out a label but because the post office never scanned it I assume both places will just say "Oh well you probably didn't ever drop it off and still have it".

Lesson learned though.  From now on when I print something at home instead of dropping it in any of the boxes or slots I'm going to have to go up to the counter and either ask for a receipt or ask her to scan them right then and there so I can see it happen.  *sigh*

I think I'm going to wait a few more days before contacting the buyer.  Thanks guys <3

Trader & Shipping Support / Post office lost my package?
« on: August 16, 2014, 10:00:49 AM »
I've got kind of a nightmare situation going on right now and I just don't know what to do.

Last weekend someone purchased a card from me on Ebay.  When it comes to cards alot of sellers seem to just stick a postage stamp on them and just go with that.  I wanted to be a little more protected and make sure it got there so I went ahead and spent the $2 to have tracking/confirmation.

On Monday the 11th a little before noon I dropped 2 packages into the out going mail slot inside the post office.  One of the packages was scanned in/accepted around 2:30 in the afternoon and went on to get lots of scans and eventually be delivered.  The other package was never once scanned.  It still shows the whole "the seller created a label, it'll be scanned when it reaches the carrier".

Today I went to the post office and had one of the ladies check the slot and their lost/damaged mail sections looking for it.  With no avail and no advice.  So I dropped it off for sure on Monday the 11th, but I have no clue where it is, and they have no clue where it is.  Because they never scanned it themselves I'm guessing that neither the post office or paypal will side with me if it never shows up and I'll be totally out the item, the money for the item, the ebay fees, and the shipping/confirmation/etc and risking bad feedback. T_T

Really the whole situation has me stressed to death considering the whole reason I sold the item was because I really needed money for some bills.

So I'm looking for a little advice.
Should I contact the buyer right away?

I've always prided myself on keeping ebay buyers updated and what not.  But I'm a little afraid if I send a message saying "hey the tracking isn't working, let me know if and when you get the item" the person might be like "Cool, free item and they have no proof I didn't get it" and claim they didn't recieve it even if they did.

So I don't know if I should give it another week (Aug 22) to see if it arrives there (like they leave feedback or whatever) or comes back to me before contacting them.  Or if I should bite the bullet and contact them now to let them know there might be a problem when it could possibly bite me.

Any thoughts? T_T

Pony Corral / Re: Next set of Mcdonalds ponies revealed. Rainbowified
« on: March 28, 2014, 11:01:55 PM »
Went to a second McDonalds today and was able to score the 6 I didn't have yet.  They did have a Customer Satisfaction box (I didn't even ask for it, just said I was looking for ponies 3-8 and the manager lady was like "Hey, go back and grab the Customer Satisfaction Box" to one of her workers).

So if anyone is looking and in the area Bethalto IL has a box that still had quite a few of everyone. :3
