If I buy Pest Control pony I’ll get the bonus pony and 30 gems. The problem is that buying Pest Control pony will take most of my gems.

Do it. You are getting 2 ponies for that gem price because of the pony you will win. Add in the 30 gems you win, now decrease 15 gems from each pony. Its a total win.

Well. Im an idiot. I had a really really bad migraine so Im blaming that for my silliness.
I had Sombras attack power at +142 with 1 booster pony and 11 hours till the end of the event. Instead of waiting till an hour or so before the event ended, leveling up Sombra MORE OR just stockpiling red crystals for after the event....I jumped to the final boss. I beat her, and won the Princess...but no more chances for more crystals. So I cant level up Sombra to the final armour/outfit or stockpile the red crystals for the gem conversion.
Sigh.

Nope. Just bits and the occasional shard. Though later minions drop more red crystals.

The way I understand the bag of crystals is that each crystal is worth the amount of the multiplier (so each crystal you win from the minon is worth 5 crystals) until you reach the total number of crystals the bag can hold.

Ohhhh! So every minion defeated is worth that number of crystals, which go in the little bag till its full. That actually makes sense. Thank you!! Ive been tempted to play the magic kingdom game but all the reviews said its as frustrating as the MLP game has become.

The last one needs 142 power I read on the facebook page. I rather save up the crystals that will be converted to gems.
But will it be a 1:1 conversion? I thought about doing that but then realized GL is mean so Im guessing it will be like 2000 crystals = 1 gem... Follow up Question: during the battles with the minion ponies the reward is “crystals x (2/3/5/etc)”. Does that mean you get that number of crystals OR is it your total crystals TIMES that number? And if it is TIMES that number, is it the number you have TOTAL or the number in that mini bag thing that collects them during the minion fight??? (Did my question make sense?)

So I bought a helper pony. And I paid a bunch of red crystals to get the gear upgraded to the second stage. It helped me figure the gear thing out.
So you can pay in small increments in the battle screen to upgrade Sombras headgear and armour. OR you can pay in big chunks in the boutique. Its the same total of red crystals spent. Each of the 4 stages of the armour gives a boost towards a FINAL TOTAL of +140.
However its the same tpyal amount to boost +1 in small increments as to pay one big chunk in the boutique.
Ugh. How frustrating that this was not better explained!!
I very much dislike this new battle style. I understand why they changed it but its very confusing.

With a few of the older Comic con G3 ponies Hasbro actually had them ‘graded’ and certified and put in the clear plastic cases. Then Hasbro sold them from their website at a $75-$100+ depending on the grade given. So some of those are actually legit auctions, the seller likely paid Hasbro an inflated price and is passing those savings onto us.
Eventually Hasbro realized pony collectors did not care about the grade system and stopped doing it with the ponies.

I have 600 gems saved up...all were free (daily videos, parasprites, events, shops, etc)....
Wouldnt it make more sense to spend an extra day getting enough red crystals to make the armour for Sombra? It says +150 Team Boost if he wears it...then I could blitz through the boss battles. Right?

I was also affected by the crashing problem. It resulted in me missing one of the free pony daily rewards. GL Cust Service pretty much told me there was nothing they could do because their records indicated I never logged in that day. Well DUH because I would start the game, it would load, and then crash! Sigh.
Sigh. Been a rough game week for me. I only play 2 games on my phone and both were messed up and both cust service groups basically told ne since Im a free player Im worthless.
