Pony Corral / Re: Wisconsin WI Pony Meet up 2014?
« on: July 16, 2014, 10:28:40 AM »
I got the forum up and running:  http://www.phpbbserver.com/2009wiponymeet/
Don't mind the 2009 in the link, we just started it that year and reuse it!

Here's the link to the Facebook event page as well:  https://www.facebook.com/events/489165827885270/

Dancing Butterflies is my favorite pony and I will probably be bringing my husband along for the road trip! It will be his first ever pony function in the 9 years I've been collecting ;)

OMG I'm so happy that you were able to get her! I saw the ending price which I thought was very fair for 3 MOC ponies so I had my fingers crossed that it was you. She is amazing and I am so excited for you that you actually have her!!

I think what you need is under Buyer Requirements on the listing page (you would have to go to revise listing since it's already active). Scroll down to Buyer Requirements and click the link to change them and then check the box to block buyers who "Have a primary shipping address in countries that I don't ship to".

Yep! I have helped many people with packages and been helped many times by others and I am happy to continue doing so :)

I'm in the USA - Illinois

Can anyone help me with a value on this gal?

She is missing her tail and the bottom orange section of her mane has been cut an inch or two and is a little dry.
She is missing 2-3 plugs at the base of her mane.
She has a symbol rub on her display side and a small green mark on her lip.
She has a slight head/body mismatch.
She has a tiny little indent under her chin and on her back ankle.

Yep, they should just want your signature when they bring the package.

Having it arrive certified won't cost you anything but there may be regular import fees depending on value? I am not sure how the import fees work for Spain though.

Thanks guys. While I really wanted that lot I don't want some crazy having my phone number or to open myself up to harassment of any type. I have sent a handful of messages over the last 4 weeks, enough to know that she's not going to respond. All of my messages have been polite and of the "hey, can you please let me know when you'll be shipping out the items I've paid for" type of messages with no mention of feedback or reporting/claims, etc. I've opened a claim as of this afternoon but have little faith that I will get anything but my money back from it. She has other active (non-pony) items but it looks like I am the only active buyer she actually has at this point as all other items have gone unsold or are still in active listing.

I was just wondering if anyone had ever called an eBay seller on the phone and what your experience had been?

I bought a lot of ponies BIN a couple weeks ago and the postage listed was only like $4 which I knew was definitely not enough to cover the weight but they had free shipping on some other auctions and things so I bought it and paid. A few days later I get an e-mail message (not through the eBay message system) from the seller that they can't send me the package unless I send them another $15 or they would have to refund my money.

Now what I probably should have done was just send the money and then filed a claim on the $15 after I received the box but I instead I wrote to them through eBay telling them what they were asking was illegal and asking them to please let me know when they would ship out the items I had paid for. Then I sent them an e-mail telling them to check their eBay messages and respond to me that way. I have not heard anything from them since and I have sent them 2 other messages, asked a question through one of their other auctions and then I have also requested their contact information. I have the date to file the claim on my original payment on a Post It on my computer so I won't forget but I was really hoping for those ponies....

I am thinking that calling would not go well but I am not sure what else to try to actually get what I paid for besides just filing the claim and getting my money back. I guess in 14 years of eBaying it's still not a bad percentage if this is the only weirdo seller that refuses to ship.

What was the shipping weight that you listed on eBay? And how much does the box actually weigh? You should get a discount for printing the shipping label online but 3 times the amount seems way off!

Could be fishy... they sound a little too confident that you will do this for them?

I would just respond with something like "I'm not currently taking offers on my ponies but feel free to purchase any of my listings that are within your budget and I will get them shipped out right away so that they arrive in time for your party!"

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: LPS pc... G2 I think? *for sale*
« on: April 10, 2014, 12:32:49 PM »
The flocked Siamese kitty and the pink zebra are both worth like $7-$10. The Great Dane (top left) is worth about $25- $35 by himself. These are ebay completed prices so if selling them off ebay I would come down at least 10%.

The rest I *think* are pretty common (meaning in the $2-$3 range) but you can always look them up. I like to use Nicole's LPS blog and then check completed ebay listings. If you scroll down a little on these 2 pages there are links to all the different animals so you can look up the numbers

Not sure on the scissors and collar but the little puppies look like they are from the Precious Places toy line (Fisher Price).
